    Last month I traveled to Gran Canaria. It was a vacation with my family.

    We flew by plane for 6


    hours. This is a Spanish island. The air temperature in winter is 12-25°C. The island is beautiful,
    sunny and has many palm trees, cacti and other exotic plants.

    During his travels in the 15th century, Christopher Columbus settled in Gran Canaria, which now
    houses his museum. More than 800 thousand people live on this island.

    The capital of the island is Las Palmas. This city is famous for its regular traditional carnivals. The
    island has a large volcanic crater. We had to go to Maspalomas, where there are large and popular
    sand dunes. I was impressed by Palmitas Park, where I saw many exotic animals and plants and
    beautiful waterfalls. I met many friendly people on the island.

    I recommend everyone to go to Gran Canaria, because there are many fantastic places, wonderful
    weather, warm ocean. I really liked this island and I promise to come back here.
