AILET-2023-N O T I F I C A T I O N

National Law University Delhi has announced the Result of All India Law Entrance Test

(AILET-2023) for the admission to B.A.LL.B.(Hons.) & LL.M Programmes for the Academic

Year 2023-24 on Monday, December 19, 2022. The category wise list of candidates

required to register for Online Counselling for admission to B.A.LL.B.(Hons.) Programme

is attached as ANNEXURE-A. The candidates are required to register themselves for the

Online Counselling latest by December 26, 2022.

The detailed guidelines for the Online Counselling are attached as ANNEXURE-B and are

available at the following links on the University websites

A) ONLINE COUNSELLING REGISTRATION:

1. The counselling for admission of candidates to NLU Delhi is completely
online. All candidates are advised to login to the AILET website and check
if they have been invited for counselling. Further, an email/SMS will also
be sent to all eligible candidates on their registered email id /mobile
number inviting them for counselling. The counselling information will
also be uploaded on the University website
https://nationallawuniversitydelhi.in/. NLU Delhi will not be responsible
for non-delivery of EMAILS/SMS.

2. a) The following will be Online Counselling Registration Fee:

 Candidates of General /Kashmiri Migrants/Residents of Jammu

and Kashmir Category-Rs.30,000.00
 Candidates of SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PWD candidates–Rs.20,000.00

b) Candidates are required to pay the Counselling Registration Fee before the
last date. Requests for payments after the last date will not be considered in
any circumstance.

c) Payments shall be made via online mode ONLY. Candidates are advised
not to wait till last minute to make payments, to avoid payment related
issues. NLU Delhi will not be responsible for any issues relating to payments.
You must wait till you see a ‘Payment Successful’ message. Requests to
make payments after last date due to transaction failures or other issues will
not be considered.

d) Counselling Registration Fee is to be paid through Digital Payment

methods like Credit/ Debit Card, Net-banking, UPI etc. only.

3. The candidates are required to upload the following self-attested

documents in serial order given below (in pdf format in one file) while
registering for Online Counselling before the stipulated time period.
Therefore, candidates are advised to be ready with these documents:

a) Marks Statement of X and XII Class Examination or equivalent

Examination. In case the result of XII class is not announced, an
undertaking to be submitted by the provisionally selected
candidate at the time of provisional admission only.
b) Character Certificate institution last attended (to be submitted later)
c) Valid category certificate (PwD/ SC/ ST/ OBC/ EWS/ KM/ Resident
of Jammu and Kashmir etc.) if applied under these categories. The
OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) certificate should be issued by the
competent authority under the Central List of OBCs or under
the Delhi State List of OBCs (Notified by the Government of NCT
of Delhi) on or after 1st April 2022. The EWS certificate should
be issued on or after April 2022. Any other supporting document
to claim the seat, for which you have applied.

4. The University will issue a category wise provisional merit list of only those

Mere registration for the counselling will not guarantee a seat.

B) PROVISIONAL MERIT LIST OF SELECTED CANDIDATE

(CATEGORY WISE)

Your provisional admission is subject to the following conditions:

1. Candidate have to submit the certificates/marks sheet of having passed

the Higher Secondary School Examination (10+2) or an equivalent
examination thereto securing in the aggregate not less than 45% of the
total marks (40% in case of SC/ST/Persons with Disability) latest by
June 1, 2022.
2. The candidate passed in compartment in the year of the admission,
would be treated as ineligible.
3. If a candidate’s name is in the list of Provisionally Selected Candidates,
the candidate is required to pay the Provisional Admission
Confirmation Fee of Rs.50,000.00 within stipulated time period failing
which provisional admission offer will automatically stand cancelled &
the Counselling Registration fee paid will be forfeited.
4. Provisional Admission Confirmation Fee of Rs.50,000.00 shall be paid
through the same portal/interface through the same login via which,
candidates have registered for Online Counselling.
5. The University will also issue category wise waiting list of only those
candidates who have registered for Online Counselling. In case any
vacancy arises due to withdrawal of admission or non-payment of
balance fee (Annexure-I) by the provisionally selected candidate within
the stipulated time period, the seat shall be filled up from the waiting
list candidates of concerned categories only in order of merit.
6. Requests for payment of fee after the last date will not be considered
under any circumstances. Candidates are advised not to wait till last

minute to make payments to avoid payment related issues. NLU Delhi

will not be responsible for any issues relating to payments. You must
wait till you see a “Payment Successful’ message & acknowledgment
slip generated”. Requests to make payments after last date due to
transaction failures or any other issues will not be considered under
any circumstances.
7. The detailed fee structure payable by the candidate for academic year
2023-24 is attached as Annexure- I.
8. The University will refund the Counselling Registration Fee of only
those candidates who have successfully registered for the Online
Counselling and paid the Counselling Registration Fee but due to
higher cut off, could not find place in the provisional merit list of the
respective categories for admission. The said refund will be initiated by
the University after February 1, 2023 or on completion of admission
process whichever is earlier. The Counselling Registration Fee will be
refunded/remitted to the same account from which it was paid. No
requests of depositing it in any other account will be entertained.

C) HOSTEL ACCOMMODATION

1. The University has Halls of Residence for both boys and girls students.
However, due to the paucity of rooms in the halls of residence for boys
at the University Campus, the University will not be able to provide
accommodation to all male students on the University campus.
2. The University will provide the accommodation on preferential basis to
the male students from outside Delhi/NCR regions only.
3. No accommodation is available for the Delhi/NCR students in the boys
hostel.

4. Accommodation for female students is available in the girls hostel at

the University campus.
5. The University will notify the schedule for allotment of hostel to the
outside Delhi/NCR male students and all female students. The hostel
fee shall be paid at the time of allotment of hostel only.
6. The University will soon begin construction of new Halls of Residence
for male students in the additional land adjacent to its campus.
