2. Mounting preparations
Separate the articulation system and the folding bellows completely from the front car
before replacing the metal-rubber bearings!
Fig. 2: Remove 1 retaining ring (Fig. 2/1) and 1 support washer (Fig. 2/2) from each side of the bear-
ing by means of the nippers (Fig. 2/3).

the bearing bore.

one supporting washer into the bearing bore.
After replacing the metal rubber bearing on the right side of the ring frame proceed with re-
placing the metal rubber bearing on the left side.
The procedure will be the same. Start with Fig. 2 and complete all subsequent mounting steps pro-
vided in this document.
Finally reconnect the articulation and the folding bellows to the front car!
The exact tightening torque is stated in the mounting instructions of the corresponding articulation type.
