(by means of an execution proof of the workshop) that all maintenance and lubricating services
have been carried out on schedule by qualified personnel.

2. Mounting preparations
Separate the articulation system and the folding bellows completely from the front car
before replacing the metal-rubber bearings!

3. Removing the metal rubber bearing


Connect the hydraulic cylinder (Fig. 1/2) to the hydraulic hose set (Fig. 1/3) and fasten to the hydraulic
pump (Fig. 1/1).

Fig. 2: Remove 1 retaining ring (Fig. 2/1) and 1 support washer (Fig. 2/2) from each side of the bear-
ing by means of the nippers (Fig. 2/3).

4. Fitting the metal rubber bearing

pump's tip is fitted in the cut-out to prevent any accidental slipping of the hydraulic pump.

Fig. 13: Remove all equipment once the metal rubber bearing is fitted. Insert one retaining ring and
one supporting washer into the bearing bore.

After replacing the metal rubber bearing on the right side of the ring frame proceed with re-
placing the metal rubber bearing on the left side.
The procedure will be the same. Start with Fig. 2 and complete all subsequent mounting steps pro-
vided in this document.

Always replace metal rubber bearings in pairs!

Finally reconnect the articulation and the folding bellows to the front car!
The exact tightening torque is stated in the mounting instructions of the corresponding articulation type.
