o Generally, the study examines the extent to which the police in the course of
discharging their duties respect the human rights and freedoms in Dao, Capiz.
o RO1: To trace the history of policing in Dao, Capiz.

changing threats to civil society.
o RO3: To know how Philippine National Police can improve preparedness and a civil
defense system’s resilience of Iloilo City.

o RO1: To examine the amount of job stress police officers perceive in Iloilo City.
o RO2: To see what role danger, peer support, administrative support, coping strategies,
and the symptoms of stress play in policing.
o RO3: To find out what the sources of stress were for the police officers and to see what
role social support played in protecting the officers from stress.
- Research Questions:
o RO1: What are the causes of stress as perceived by police office in Iloilo City?
o RO2: What is the relationship of stress to peer support, administrative support, family
support, danger, coping strategies, and symptoms?
o RO3: How is social support protecting the police officers in Iloilo City from stress?
