ACCOMMODATION

free of charge. Make sure you notify us about any dietary needs.
Accommodation address:
Tagungshaus Drübberholz, Drübber 4, 27313 Dörverden
PACKING LIST
Comfortable and warm clothes and comfortable shoes which you would usually take for
hiking. The weather is usually warm in summer, however nights might get coldish. When
choosing clothes think: forest... morning dew... trekking... being at nature...
Travel light :) We suggest a backpack as an alternative to other bags with wheels because
it might be hard for you to move it around.
House shoes (and if you like, also shoes for taking shower)
The venue kindly asked us to minimise our impact on nature where we will reside. Please,
take less things which later will end up in the waste basket of the venue (like plastic bags,
packages, etc.).
NEWSPAPERS
STORY TO TRADE WITH OTHERS AND AN OBJECT TO EXCHANGE
PHOTOGRAPH OF YOU WHEN YOU WERE A CHILD
Raincoat (in an unlikely event of rain)
Sunscreen and mosquito repellent (we reside almost in the heart of the forest)
Refillable water bottle (we will have drinking water from local springs available)
Any medicines or anything else you might need for personal hygiene. The closest shop to
the venue is quite far (1-2 hours). It's better if you pack all necessary toothpastes,
shampoos, etc.
Make sure you secure a Travel and a Medical Insurance; Please, bring your own
Mask(s)/hand sanitizer for personal use and some FFP2 masks. We will not provide those
individually.
Intercultural Night?
We like to use this opportunity and
encourage your groups to prepare an activity
representing something special/traditional...
from your country. An INTERACTIVE
EXPERIENCE for the whole group they will
not be able to enjoy without you.
Get Creative!

PARTICIPANTS
The project is open for 30 participants with various backgrounds. For this youth exchange we
will cooperate with Ibis refugee centre in Oldenburg(they have a broad network all around
Germany) so that to make sure they send us at least three youngsters with refugee/migrant
background. The partner from Ukraine we know, is going to send us at least two
participants with economical obstacles (registered unemployed youth), there will be two
persons from Italy who are refugees. We foresee that refugee youth(from Germany) will have
more problems to be available every day, because very often they have their weekly
schedules here they have to be present at their german class or deal with other issues. That is
why we are planning to invite refugees from the area we are doing the project, what will make
it easier to coordinate these difficulties. Participants of the youth exchange are aged between
16 and 26. Some of the group leader's age is between 27 and 30.
We agreed with all our partner organisations that every partner (who sends participants), will
send at least two participants with fewer opportunities. All of our partners are well connected to
local youth centers and as well to youth with fewer opportunities such as economical
obstacles, cultural differences, geographical obstacles, social obstacles and
with refugee history.
#Palestinian partner ill send us youth with social obstacles, cultural differences and economic
obstacles;
# #ITTA (Ukraine)
Our partner from Ukraine is going to send us at least two participants with economical obstacles
(registered unemployed youth). This local organisation from Chernivtsi has good connection to the
local youth in the area.
#Turkish partner will send us youth with cultural differences and learning difficulties;
#Dutch partner will send us youth with educational difficulties and refugees;
#Croatian partner will send us youth with migrant background and youth with economic obstacles;
