Where do blue whales live?


Blue whales live in all the world's oceans, except the Arctic.
What do blue whales look like?
Blue whales are larger than the dinosaurs were! They
are the biggest animals on the planet. They are also
the heaviest animals in the world. A blue whale's tongue
can weigh as much as an elephant! They breathe
through two blowholes on the top of their heads.
What do blue whales eat?
Blue whales eat a lot of krill which are tiny shrimp like crustaceans. They measure about 1 – 2
cm long. Blue whales eat about 4 – 6 tons of krill per day!

• Blue whales can weigh up to 200 tons.
