All About Me Project

Standards: LAE: ELA.6. C.2.1 Present information orally, in a logical sequence, using nonverbal
cues, appropriate volume, clear pronunciation, and appropriate pacing
SS: SS.6.W.1.6 Describe how history transmits culture and heritage and provides models of
human character.

Objectives: Students will understand how to explain and express cultures.

Materials: computer

Procedures:
1. Students will use their computers to research specific aspects of their cultures.
2. Students will follow posted rubric to use PowerPoint to create a quick presentation
explaining aspects of their culture and background.
3. Students will give a brief presentation to the class.

Evaluation:
Teacher will score rubric of All About Me Project to ensure mastery.
