‘We are very thankful for Life Club. Our
youths had low self-confidence in groups
and speaking in public. With Life Club,
many of them are now able to speak in
public and now have much more
confidence in many things. Many youths
join us from different Churches so that they
can learn and become more confident like
the GCI youths.’

Abigail
Beautiful
and Wise

By Kalengule Kaoma
GCI Superintendent for Africa
Speech given on the 21st January 2023
‘Abigail skilfully used reconciliatory
words to defuse a volatile situation.
Her masterful speech is found in 1
Samuel 25:24-31. Abigail carefully
chooses her words and, of course,
so should we.’

‘Be gracious in your speech.’
