[Update on the Validation Module]

1. Open the BIR website (www.bir.gov.ph).

2. On the lower left side of the BIR website home page. Click on the “Downloadables” button
3. Click the “Alphalist Data Entry and Validation Module Version 7.0 “and download the val1604v70.exe
or val1604v70.zip program.

4. Locate where the Alphalist Data Entry and Validation Module Version 7.0 is installed and save the
downloaded program (val1604v70.exe). [by default, it is located in drive C with folder name
BIRALPHA70]
5. Pop-up button asking to Skip or Replace the existing file will appear, select the option Replace the
file in the destination

6. After copying the downloaded executable file in the destination folder, your validation module is now
ready to use.
