History French Revolution 

Revolution definition -forceful overthrow of the gov-not always violent 


Example of Violent revolution- apartheid

Causes of the French Revolution

 internal causes (everything in the country)(political system,economic etc)
 external causes (countries conflict,pressure from other countries)
 Long term causes (takes place over a long time,pressure can build)

Political causes
-the monarch-king Louis xvi and queen Marie Antoinette
-divine by decree
-ruled by decree 
-they ruled with complete power 
-parliment just advices him
-absolute monarch 
 the king had the right to appoint anyone to and dismiss anyone 
 Anyone who raised a dif idea he got rid of
The church 
-incredible powerful
 separate form the state  
 they own a lot of land
 don’t have to pay taxes

-philosophical revolution (ideas/thinking

-the end result was a shift in mindset 
-they questioning diving right 
-they can’t move up in society (social hirachy)
-aspects of ruling by decree absolute monarchy
