A Village Fair

Introduction : Generally a village fair is a gathering place of village people. Here

various kinds of things are displayed, sold and bought. It is held once a year. It lasts for a
day or a few days. It is held in an open place.

Occasion : The fair starts on the Bangla New Year. For this reason, People call it
Baisakhi Mela. The fair is held in an open field. The fair lasts for 3 to 5 days.

 My Visit : Every year I visit the fair. I visit the fair with my friends and family. I like to
visit the fair in the afternoon. The fair is not very far from our village. So, we go to the
fair on foot.

 Description of the fair :  A few days ago, I visited the fair. There were hundreds of
small and big shops. There were many kinds of shops. Most of them were hand-made
shops. Besides, there were circus, jattra doll-dance and magic show in the fair. The fair
was decorated very nicely.

 How I enjoyed the fair : We visited the whole fair. I bought some necessary things. I
also bought some hand made things. After that, we enjoyed circus and doll-dance. And
at last we ate sweet and rosogolla.

 Conclusion : After visiting the fair, we came back home at mid-night. I enjoyed the fair
very much. I will not forget it. The memory of visiting the fair will remain long in my
heart.
