Globalization
For better or for worse
People today have contacts with each other more than ever and the Internet is growing faster,
information and communication goes through Internet. Things and goods produced in one
part of the world are becoming increasingly available in all parts of the world. Globalization
thus sweeps over the world. Globelish is English all over the world that make easier to people
in Sweden communication with Asian countries. English is taking over the globe. Mr.Nerriere
mentions in the book blueprint C, the shark page 22 ”Globish is not a language, it will never
have a literature. Globish is just a tool,practical,efficient,limited on purpose”
Globalization has both advantages and disadvantages. The advantage is that you can get
much closer to each other and make the world better and disadvantage are those deep
problems such as unemployment and poverty and cheap labor.
Shipping has become much cheaper with globalization. The access to raw materials and
workers makes it possible for companies to offer consumers lower prices on better products. In
a nutshell, globalization is the result of expanding trade throughout the world. The majority
of the products and services we buy now are produced beyond our national borders and
shipped to us at lightning speed. The Internet has spearheaded the exchange of untold
quantities of information. Nothing is really ”exotic” anymore since you can have it delivered
to your doorstep for a song.
Former U.S. President Jimmy Carter says of globalization in the chapter The shark page 31
that ”Globalization, as defined by rich people like us, is a very nice thing…you are talking
about the Internet, you are talking about cell phones, you are talking about computers. This
doesn't affect two-thirds of the people of the world.”
The world is getting smaller. My shoes are from Canada, my shirt is from Romania and ate
yesterday a sushi for lunch and probably i stay in touch using english.This is called a global
village. We come closer to each other. You hear each other so clearly, so easy now. We are
close now. As the locomotive rolls across the gravel, so we hear the sound of smartphones, e-
mail falls inside, very often, the aircraft is more frequent than news broadcasts. The world is
globalized. But we should not fear the free market.
The free market, the "capitalistic market" and the countries have never been closer together
than now. Crisis after crisis has come in countries after inflations in the international market.
This has led to unemployment, less money in the town funds and an almost global depression
as soon as the word money comes in the century.

 But I believe that the free market is what we should invest in a market where entrepreneurs
and capitalists who invest, create jobs and stability in the market and a tax stability in
countries where the welfare shortcomings. Opt for the companies, and to invest in workers, it
is those who produce and create jobs and money to our communities.
But If we look at the positive side, I say that globalization has provided rich opportunities for
cultures to learn about each other through music, dance, art literature and film. When two
cultures interact, fascinating hybrids can emerge. We all have probably danced to rap music
that samples west African drumming, or seen a film with a big Bollywood-style dance number
from india. Fusion food tastes incredible, incidentally. who doesn't love sushi?
For better or for worse, globalization is here to stay. It is up to us all on every level, from
individuals to nations to entire world community, to decide how we can promote human
rights, sustain our environment, nurture national identities, encourage equality among the
nations, and prosper together in the new global village. Hope that the world will not go over
the limit when it comes to politics or economics when all will live in a better place.
