Lesson Plan – March 22nd – Morning Group

NOTE: Each piece of the Quiz will be separated from the others. The Ss´ will try to
guess the answer of some riddles in order to know the place of the pieces.
a. What has a neck but no head?
b. What has a face and two hands but no arms or legs?
c. What has a thumb and four fingers but is not alive?

0. Debate (9:05-9:15): Ss´ will choose one side, either the one for Cat Lovers or for Dog
Lovers. They will have 3 minutes to prepare some arguments in favor of their decision.
They will have just one round to reject the other´s arguments.
1. Secret Code (9:20-9:30): The Ss´ will receive a piece of paper containing the
vocabulary of the unit. Those word will be written in a secret code that the Ss´ will try to
figure out.
0.1. Make the longest Words (9:35-9:45): The Ss´ will receive a word related to the
vocabulary. Each Ss will have to write one word per each letter of the correspondent word.

2. What were you doing when (9:50-10:10): The professor will replicate the draw from
the Page 55. Then will ask the Ss´ to come to the board and put some images on the spaces.
Students will take turn to say numbers and each Ss will have to say a phrase with When or
While. NOTE: The Ss´ will receive common verbs and the Professor will show an
example.
0.2. Things to do with (10:15-10:25): Ss´ will find random but justifiable uses for the
things that the professor mentions.

3. Word Search (11:00-11:20): The students will receive a piece of paper with a Word
Search. This activity will contain the vocabulary from Page.
0.3. How many sounds can you hear? (11:25-11:30): Ss´will be in silence for two
minutes and write down every sound that they hear. Let´s compare the lists.
4. Describe the Photo (11:35-11:40): The Ss´ will have to assign the gotten words from
Secret Code to a set of photos the professor will show them.
0.4 Odd one out: The Ss´ have to select the word that doesn´t belong to the group of given
word.

5. Worksheet Time (11:40-12:00): The Ss´ will develop the worksheets about Verbs in
Past (Regular & Irregular) and about
0.5. Name Ten: The Ss´ have to name ten items for a certain criteria.

e. Three letter parts of the body
7. Pronunciation: The Ss´ will read some sentences and try to pronounce in the way the
teacher showed the previous class.
