2.5 Add or substitute individual sounds in simple, one-syllable words to make new
words.

Description: This app lesson will develop kindergarten students’ to demonstrate their
understanding of spoken, from syllables to sounds .

Instructional Objective: Students will be able to identify how many syllables are in a


word. Students will be able to identify one syllable rhyming words.

Step 1:  Students will search up a few short letter words to get assistance with finding
out how many syllables the word has.

Step 2  Students will use the words searched in the 1st step to help find words that
rhyme with specific word. By typing the word into rhyme zone and it helping by pulling
up words that make the same sounds and ryhme

Step 3 : Students will show their progress and what was learned about rhyming and
syllables throughout the different apps given to them. If students complete at home,
they will upload screenshot of their grade report from this app.
