To Whom It May Concern:

This correspondence is in regard to Anna Iverson, a University of Arizona Bachelor of Science nursing
student graduating May 2023. I am honored to write this letter of recommendation for Anna, a stellar
applicant for a New Graduate Registered Nurse position. I had the pleasure to work with Anna during the
spring 2022 semester as she was a clinical and didactic student in NURS 366 “Acute and Chronic Illness
Management 1”. I have been impressed with Anna’s clinical skills and motivation to succeed at the next
level.

Ms. Iverson demonstrated professionalism, competency, accountability, and leadership during the
pediatric clinical rotation at Tucson Medical Center. Anna was highly motivated to learn as much as
possible from all disciplines. Anna was assertive and not afraid to ask questions while assisting with care
for high acuity infants and children in the Neonatal Intensive Care unit, Pediatric Intensive Care unit,
Twin Peaks K-8 School, as well as with infants and children in the Pediatric Medical-Surgical unit. Anna
developed an immediate relationship with patients, families, and interdisciplinary healthcare providers
while providing wholistic and evidence-based care to patients in the pediatric units. Anna was calming to
parents and children as she could communicate in Spanish as needed.

In addition to strong clinical skills Ms. Iverson demonstrated excellent teamwork. Anna made herself
available to patient care technicians as well as peers and registered nurses. Anna completed
developmental age-appropriate assessments, vital signs, medication preparation and administration as
well documented proficiently in the EPIC electronic medical record system. Ms. Iverson has proven that
she can succeed academically graduating with a 3.7 GPA in the highly competitive, rigorous nursing
program at the University of Arizona.

The University of Arizona, College of Nursing has prepared Anna with a strong work ethic to succeed in
a challenging environment and learn at the next level. Anna indicates a strong passion to serve others and
is ready for the challenge. Without hesitation, I highly recommend Anna Iverson for the New Graduate
Registered Nurse position. Please feel free to contact me for additional information if needed.

Sincerely Yours,

Beverly Bias, MS, RNC-NIC, NTMNC
