Highly motivated aeronautical engineer with strong technical background in design, inspection and manufacturing software and processes. Out
of the box thinker seeking for a permanent position in product design where I can use my skills and knowledge to increase the company
efficiency and productivity.

Relevant Experience
Turbomachinery Product Design Engineer II – Honeywell Aerospace (May 2015-Mar 2020)
• Created novel techniques for analysis and validation of nominal FEA models for turbine blades and nozzle vanes for CFD and structural
analysis, allowing for analysis of statistically meaningful evaluations of large number of parts, ensuring quality. The automation of the
processes and the spread of the techniques saved analysis time and reduced the engineering cycle of validation. The results of this work
are documented in ASME Turbo EXPO 2018 “Aerodynamic and Mechanical Analyses on Manufacturing Variations of a Turbine Blade Row”
ID GT2018-75536.
• +$700k USD in MRB savings
• CFD analysis in StarCCM+ and Ansys fluent of Nozzle Vanes internal airflow to provide design recommendations and analyze impact of
product deviations of tube inlets, modification and repair of nominal geometry to allow for analysis.
• 5 years of experience in Engineering review of FAIR AS9102 forms to validate suppliers of turbine and nozzle vane castings. My main duty
was to create and evaluate, with multiple teams of matter experts, the technical documentation presented to the FAA to certify and allow
for production.
• Worked using Dimensional analysis of scanned parts (STL) using GOM inspect professional, creation of GOM templates for dimensional
inspection and best practices to analyze samples of large number of parts to ensure statistical feasibility, dimensional stability and
correlation to actual results in manufacturing, allowing for
• Creation of all the necessary steps to allow for FEA structural analysis on turbine blades using STL scans of actual hardware in ANSYS APDL,
SPACECLAIM and GOM. Innovative project to allow analysis on actual hardware.

Speaker at ENIES 2014 (Congreso Nacional de Investigación en Educación Superior) “ANÁLISIS CON EL MODELO SPALARTALLMARAS DE UN
CONCEPTO DE AERONAVE EN VUELO HIPERSÓNICO”,
Conceptual design for a hypersonic aircraft and concept optimization by FEA (CFD, Structural), Advanced meshing and simulation techniques to carry
on complex geometry analysis using low performance computer, speaking mainly done as a showcase to the students of the available FEA/CFD
tools, the poster made for this presentation was selected as winner

CATIA Programmer Centro de Investigación en Materiales Avanzados S.C (CIMAV (Jul 2013 – Jan 2014)
Academic Supervisor: Ph.D. Alberto Díaz
Highlights: Worked as CATIAV5 (VBScripting) programmer as part of a team developing and automating of FEA analysis of aircraft hydraulic systems
(modal, structural), recognition of a large and complex pipes system and reduction to a 1D analysis to allow for FEA (modal and structural) in a large
scale (300+ parts) in in a single analysis.

Speaker at CIPITECH 2013 (Congreso Internacional de Investigación y Tecnología de Chihuahua)

On the subject “Finite Element Method Analysis of a Bladeless Turbine Disc using Ansys Fluent”
Highlights: Simulation of a rotating body inside a volume control. This investigation led to a better understanding on Tesla’s Bladeless turbo
machinery (Boundary Layer Turbine)

3D modeler and drafter AeroSchmitt (Jan 2011 – Jan 2013) Highlights: drawing, modeling and manufacturing of a Drilling Rig (Heavy Machinery),
Design of several custom mechanical devices, use of FEA to validate designs and predict performance (Structural), and preparation of drawings for
BOM and cost prediction.
