The call numbers on children’s non-fiction books are labeled J for Juvenile followed by the
Dewey Decimal number and the first three letters of the author’s last name (i.e., J 100.759 SMI
is a children’s non-fiction book and Smith is the author’s last name). Indicate in which group
these books would be placed.
EXAMPLE: J 567.8 PRE = Group 2 J 201.456 SMA = Group 1 J 749 TRE = Group 3
