In view of what happened,

President Gustavo Petro
made a statement on his
Twitter account. In a
short message, he
confirmed that the helicopter
was carrying out supply work
and also urged the
authorities to investigate and
address the incident.
"A few minutes ago an Army
helicopter crashed in Quibdó
while carrying out supply
work. I have
ordered the authorities to
immediately move to the
area to attend to the
MELISSA MUNERA ZAMBRANO emergency and
19 DE MARZO 2023, 06:08 P.M investigate the causes of what
happened"

The Army confirmed that there were four fatalities in
the aerial incident.
Several videos that circulated on social networks
showed the aerial emergency with a national
army helicopter that went into losses. The audiovisual
piece shows how the aircraft makes several
turns in the sky, it is evident that it loses control and
falls in the middle of the citizenship.
