Global Governance
Global governance, as its name implies, is the way in which global affairs are managed.
Global governance typically involves a range of actors including states, as well as regional and
international organizations. Thus, global governance is thought to be an international process of
consensus-forming which generates guidelines and agreements that affect national governments
and international corporations. Global governance can be considered the response to issues
arising from the world´s increasing interconnectivity, and the need for and importance of a
process to designate laws, rules, or regulations governing political, economic, social and cultural
issues, and which are to be used on a global scale.

It works based on rights and rules that are enforced through a combination of economic and
moral incentives. As the communication between the countries becomes open sharing of
information became easier due to globalization. It is also essential for solving problems that
cross borders: pandemics, wars, and financial crises. That equals to a good global governance all
over the country. Global governance is key to solving global problems.

Accordingly, without it, we may not be able to avoid weakest-link existential risks or regulate
new and dangerous technologies. Effective global governance will allow us to end armed
conflict, deal with new and emerging problems such as technological risks and automation, and
to achieve levels of prosperity and progress never before seen. The most important challenge for
humanity is overcome is that of existential risks.
