Job description :  JIRA administrator

Be the go-to person for all Jira (Cloud and Data Center) questions and issues

Support JIRA administration, including creation and management of custom, complex projects,
workflows, security schemes, custom fields, dashboards, and reports configurations.

Analyze, review, and document current functionality to determine potential areas of improvement.

Manage user permissions for tools according to the needs of projects and teams.

Install, manage, and administer Jira add-ons, plugins, and extensions.

Work with process owners to identify JIRA needs and implement them as appropriate.

 Design and implement new standardized project templates, workflows, and permissions.

 Aid in the development and compilation of training materials based on the company’s
needs.
 Conduct training on JIRA regarding how to use the tools, new functionality, etc.

Qualifications:

 Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science or related

discipline.
 Expert level Atlassian tool administration knowledge on JIRA.
 3+ years’ experience as JIRA Administrator with experience customizing JIRA projects with
the various schemes, complex workflows, screen schemes, permission schemes, and
notification schemes required.
 Ability to write custom JQL (Jira Query Language)
 Ability to construct custom dashboards using various filter types in JIRA

 Advanced VBA skills (Developing macros; variables and data types; SQL scripts and queries;
database development; objects and methods)
 Advanced Excel knowledge: pivot tables, complex formulas, lookups
 Code reviewing

 Strong analytics skills that allow to sort and prioritize user issues and quickly resolve them.
