1. Is  it  possible  for  someone  to  make  a  “rational”  decision  to  commit suicide? Under what 
circumstances?

- Committing suicide can be rationalize in different way. If it is the circumstance of the person have no 
other options such as diseases that can't cure or even treatment cannot be intervene. This is sometimes 
the debate of how the person can be saved or not . Second is the consequences that he or she make but 
it can go into redemption of the person as he or she explains the motivation behind it. Sometimes I think 
committing suicide would hinder your loved ones to feel emotions or even realization of what the person 
that he or she have. And lastly I think suicide can be sacrifices such as in a Military situation. Like Dhan 
Ryan Bayot that he finds a hideout of maute group and the last word is "just bomb my position sir".

2. Are laws ethical that permit physician-assisted suicide? Why or why not

The ethics of physician-assisted suicide are hotly debated. Some people believe that someone with a 
terminal illness should be able to end their suffering with dignity, while others believe that physicians 
cannot assist people in ending their lives because it contradicts their role as healers. According to the 
American Medical Association (AMA), thoughtful, morally admirable people have opposing but equally 
deeply held and well-considered views on physician-assisted suicide. Both supporters and opponents 
share a fundamental commitment to values such as care, compassion, respect, and dignity; however, 
they diverge in drawing different moral conclusions from those underlying values in good faith.

3. A person with bipolar disorder frequently discontinues taking medication when out of the hospital, 
becomes manic, and engages in risky behavior such as speeding, drinking and driving, and incurring large 
debts. How do you reconcile the client’s right to refuse medication with public or personal safety? Who 
should make such a decision? How could it be enforced?

This is a complicated issue that requires balancing the rights of the person suffering from bipolar disorder 
with the safety of themselves and others. Whether or not to enforce medication compliance depends on 
the specific circumstances and laws of the location. If an individual is deemed unable to make informed 
decisions about their treatment, a healthcare proxy or legal guardian may be appointed to make 
decisions on their behalf. Healthcare providers, family members, and support systems must all 
collaborate to help the individual understand the importance of medication compliance and the potential 
consequences of noncompliance. Finally, it is a decision that should be made after careful consideration 
of all relevant factors.
