To whom it may concern,

I have known Josh since his Junior school year here at Carson High School. I’ve had the
privilege to have taught him AP Computer Science Principles during his 3rd year here are Carson
Senior High.

Josh is a hard-working student that has strived to understand and grow in his abilities in
computer science. He was always contributing to the work we did in class, offering insights into
what we studied and what he learned. He was punctual with his assignments and took his time to
really understand the content he was working on. Ultimately, he was able to earn a Pass in his AP
exam for this course. He is also an involved student outside of the classroom. This year he is the
ASB treasurer as well as the founder and president of the Rock and Crystals club here on campus.
He is also part of our peer counselor program where he helps underclassmen prep for their
journeys in learning after high school, working closely with our college counselor in our college
center. As well he has invested in multiple AP courses so far and is working hard to achieve high
recognitions in all these courses. Overall, he is a dedicated student both outside and inside the
classroom here at Carson High.

It is for these aforementioned reasons that I emphatically recommend Josh Arcenal. He is

an amazing student that works hard for himself and others.
