1. Online education is becoming increasingly popular. Many students are choosing to

study online instead of face - to - face education. Do the advantages of distant
education outweigh the disadvantages?

In the modern technological society, many leaners have a tendency to make a choice
studying on the Internet. While most individuals think that e-learning is the best
method for students in the 21th century, I hold an opposite view that online
environment could not replace traditional classes completely which is outlined in this
essay.

On the one hand, there are some reasons why the measure of online learning is chosen
by many populations. First of all, this way is extremely convenient for students. It
means that learners can engage in online class any location with just a smart device
connected to the Internet. In addition, learners could save time and money from
commuting and they may not have to worry about the weather. This way allows some
people who live so far from school have the opportunity to study. Another example is
that breadwinners who are busy with their children also choose learning through the
Internet. Finally, in a special situation like the Covid-19 epidemic, this is the most
optimal learning method because it helps to ease the community outbreak.

On the other hand, I hold a view that internet-based learning could not totally replace
classroom learning because of having negative points. The biggest disadvantage of
online environment is that many students unfocused on the screen for long periods of
time. Because of online learning, students could be easily distracted by social media or
other sites. Another drawback is that distant education reduces face-to-face
interaction. That means many students tend not to value relationships between teacher
and student as well as student and student. Last but not least, in many cases, the
internet connection is not stable which makes learning interrupted. Therefore,
learners may miss important contents.

In conclusion, for the reasons mentioned above, I strongly assume that the drawbacks
of online education outweigh the benefits. It is obvious that at face-to-face education is
the better choice for learners.

In modern life, an increasing number of adults have tendency to teach English for their
minors from infancy. While others have doubts about this matter, I strongly assume
that young children should start learn English as an infant.

First of all, learning English is easier and faster from a very young age. Children can
absorb a new language in the simplest way. Take an example from adults, when we are
children, we learn language in a natural way and we don’t need to try very hard. In
addition, their brains are able to imitate and memorize the sound quickly. Moreover,
minors have more time to learn than grown-up person. Hence, they always debate time
on learning which is as their full-time job.

Secondly, by learning English since infancy, children can connect with cultural diversity
in the planet. As the world is becoming more and more globalized each day, children
can access to different cultures, customs and cuisines in the world. Thus, it helps them
broaden outlook as well as enrich knowledge. Furthermore, they also expand their
relationships like make friends with foreigners.

Last but not least, it´s an undeniable fact that knowing English enhances more career
opportunities in adulthood. In the modern age of globalization, more and more
companies are seeking employees that speak more than one language. Furthermore,
these employees often have a high position and salary. Thus, English is the most
important language at a professional level.

In conclusion, learning English from infancy is really essential for minors. I hold my view
that children should learn English as soon as possible to have a successful future.

pre-made food due to numerous merits of them. This article will analyze the main
reasons and various influences from this issue.

On the one hand, there are several causes of eating junk food. The main reason is that
parents who are breadwinners are busy with a variety of things in their life; therefore,
they don’t have enough time for preparing home-cooked food for their kids. Another
reason is that the pace of life is extremely fast in the modern society. As a result, the
crowd might choose fast food to save time. To take breakfast as an example, most
parents would buy fast food for their children through having handmade food from
home because of quicks. Last but not least, there is no doubt that fast food is really
attractive with many individuals, especially youngsters because delicious dishes such
as hamburger, sandwich, pizza and so on. Moreover, pre-made food is not only fast to
prepare or buy, but also convenient to enjoy.

On the other hand, having a habit of eating fast food in a period of time has negative
impact on children’s health. First of all, the human body requires a balanced diet.
Therefore, an unhealthy diet can cause various health problems such as weight issues,
heart diseases and so on… As a result, obesity among children makes them lack of
confident in life. In addition, convenience food contains a lot of fat, salt and sugar; and
it is not enough nutrient and vitamin for children in physical and mental development.

In conclusion, nowadays, youngsters tend to consume fast food significantly. It is clearly

seen that there are various reasons for eating junk food and also create obvious effects
as health problems of each child.

healthy. This means that, they are at risk of being health issues such as overweight,
nearsighted and so on. In other words, kids waste much time watching instead of

friends, it may impact their social development. Furthermore, many children think that
watching TV is more enjoyable than doing homework so that children may miss out on
learning.

There is no doubt that watching TV offers various merits for young people. The first
benefit is that television has great source of knowledge for the child. TV programs
show about wildlife, natural environments, different people, cultures, and places in the
world. This is a wonderful method to broaden their outlook through the TV screen.
Another advantage of television is educational. Watching educational shows can teach
youngsters about many subjects such as Mathematics, Literature, Languages, Science
and so on. It not only makes learning new, but also more interesting. Last but not least,
watching TV channels, especially cartoon channels makes children cheerful and de-
stress. The colorful images and the sounds can appeal to them.

In conclusion, it is undeniable that television has an important role in the part of every
child’s life. For the reason mentioned above, I assume that the benefits of watching TV
programs outweigh the drawbacks.

VII. Work

successful career, while others believe that it is better to get a job straight after

The society has various views about the best way to have a successful career. While an
increasing number of people believe that students should apply for a job after leaving
high school, I hold an opposite view that continuing to college or university is the
better option.

On the one hand, there are several reasons why most individuals think that getting a job
after graduating from high school is better. Firstly, there is no doubt that teenagers
save a period of four or five years studying. Secondly, they also save a large tuition fee.
In addition, work experiences are significantly accumulated for a long time in order to
start-up for their career. In fact, many people become their own boss instead of hiring
for someone else. To take Bill Gate as an example, he becomes the richest man in the
world without degree.

On the other hand, I strongly assume that students would gain more benefits if they
continue pursuing high education. The first merit is that they accumulate their
expertise. In real life, there are some occupations require high level degree such as
doctors, lectures, lawyers and so on. Another upside is that they have more
opportunities to get high position and high salary. By this way, studying at university or
college is very important to catch up with the development of modern society.
In conclusion, for all the reasons mentioned above, I believe that keeping studying at
university or college is more successfully in pursuing their dream jobs.

2. Nowadays, many people argue that working in a group is more effective than

team while others work independently. I strong believe that both teamwork and work
independently are effective because of the following reasons.

There is no doubt that working in a work has benefits significantly. To begin with, in a
team, the leader plays an important role in working assignment for each member. As a
result, the task is done quickly and effectively. It’s also reduces high pressure in heavy
jobs of members in a group. Another advantage of teamwork is that it encourages
individual to give great idea when discussing issue to find the best choice. Because
different people have different ways of thinking, thus, working with different members

environment is a wonderful way in order to upgrade communication skills and
interaction skills. Thanks to that, each member can learn a lot from other teammates.

It cannot be denied that working alone has strong points. First of all, workers are more

into it which helps them finish their task quickly. Secondly, they could develop their
own skills such as self-motivation, self-awareness and self-management. Therefore,
they could become their own boss. Last but not least, by working alone, they can easily
make a decision because they do not depend on anyone’s opinions, ideas, or
suggestions.

In conclusion, for all the reasons mentioned above, I personally believe that both
individual and team working styles bring certain benefits and results. Which working
style is better, it depends on perfective and personality of each worker.

this and I personally assume that it is a positive trend.

factors. It means that, the equality between male and female has opened the door for
more women to get good opportunities at work. In many fields, for example,
telemarketing, teaching, fashion design, and banking, women are doing better than men
and this has created a demand for female employees in the job market. Another reason
is that the development of technology is involved in the high rate of unemployment.
Men who find it difficult looking for a good occupation tend to stay home for taking care
of their children. Besides, in many cases, female tend to earn more money than male;
at the same time, men are more skillful in domestic market.

I hold my view that the change mentioned above is positive. Firstly, we should be happy
to live in a society in which men and women have equal opportunities. Women are not
under pressure to sacrifice their careers. Moreover, female make a significant
contribution to economic and social development. In addition, children are also safer
with their father at home because men are able to protect their children better than
women when attacked by criminals.

real life. Thurs, people would become inactive in conversation. Last but not least,

communication online, the more cybercrime increases.

In conclusion, communicating through the Internet brings benefits for human in the
modern technological society. Personally, I strong believe that it has negative effect on
social relationships in real life as well as communication skills.

increasing rubbishes and emissions significantly. Last but not least, this trend has
negative impact on young generation’s sense of saving. It’s increasingly difficult to
teach them this sense given the fact that they are living in a throw-away society.

This trend can brings out several undesirable influences.

their childbirth which is regarded as a new trend of marriage. This article will
analyze the causes and negative effects of this tendency.

To begin with, there are various reasons why most individuals have delayed
parenthood. One of the main causes of this trend is that they concentrate on
purchasing their dream career first and then having children. For many
workaholics, career development is probably their mission. Another reason is
that most populations want to earn a lot of money to prepare for raising a baby in
the best way in terms of physical health and education. In facts, the cost of raising
and schooling a child in modern cities is extremely not cheap. Last but not least,
this choice allows them to have more time to enjoy life when they are young. For
instance, it is easier for a young couple to travel when they do not have a baby to
take care of.

However, the consequence of getting pregnant later is extremely serious for

families and society. First of all, this trend has negative impact on families. Having
children when reaching over 35 years old can affect pregnancy due to ageing
health. As a result, babies are not healthy enough or even die a premature death.
Furthermore, if this trend persists, it will lead to population aging and lack of
young labor. The rate of old people is increasing rapidly while the rate of young
people is decreasing significantly.
