Examination report
Area of examination: BRAIN MRI, standard (WI) as of October 8, 2022
Full name: Yevhen Leonidovych Huk, born in 1986
On a series of MR-tomograms in the axial, coronal and sagittal planes in the modes of TI,
T2-weighted, DWI and FLAIR images of the periventricularly, in the white matter of the frontal,
parietal, and temporal lobes, in both thalamus foci of irregular shape, increased signal intensity on
FLAIR and T2-weighted images, 3 mm to 7 mm in size, are determined. Differentiation of white
and gray matter is preserved. No midline shift.
The cerebral ventricular system is not dilated. Convexital cerebrospinal fluid spaces are
dilated in the frontal and parietal lobes. The basal cisterns of the brain are unchanged.
No pathological changes of the chiasm, Turkish saddle, cerebellopontile angles, internal
auditory canals, and optic nerves were detected.
The mucous membrane in the right maxillary sinus is thickened up to 7-8 mm, in the left is
up to 3 mm. Pneumatization of other paranasal sinuses and temporal bones is not impaired. No
pathological signals were found in the bones of the skull.
The craniovertebral junction is unchanged.
Conclusion:
MR signs of a focal brain lesion, more likely of demyelinating nature, require dynamic
monitoring.
Recommendations:
Consultation of a neurologist, MR control in dynamics with intravenous contrast.
