In what ways is the use of pesticides

beneficial and harmful for living things?

FOR: killing pests that are feeding on the crop brings the primary benefit of
higher yields and better quality of crops. (Global)

FOR: additional revenue that could be put towards children's education or

medical care, leading to a healthier, better educated population.

FOR VS FOR: Both arguments are effective although 1 is more effective as the
main purpose of pesticides is to kill the pests (insects and viruses) and it
benefits the humans as there is more output to sell and a way to earn more
revenue.

Against: These chemicals do pose a potential risk to humans and other

life forms and unwanted side effects to the environment. No segment of the
population is completely protected against exposure to pesticides and the
potentially serious health effects.(Global)

Against: Pesticides can contaminate soil, water, turf, and other

vegetation. In addition to killing insects or weeds, pesticides can be toxic to a
host of other organisms including birds, fish, beneficial insects, and non-target
plants.

Against vs Against: Both arguments are effective although 1 is more effective
because the pesticides are more harmful to human heath as they are being
used on crops which later are consumed by humans and they get effected by
the toxicants which are present on the crops due to they used pesticides.
