I volunteered at my house by cleaning out my pantry. I threw out all of the old food and
organized it by size. I also kept in mind convenience and what canned foods are used the
most. Furthermore, I sorted foods with the same brand names together. Overall, my
favorite part of helping out around the house was the satisfaction of everything be neat
and in order. My responsibilities were cleaning and organizing my pantry.
Volunteering at Gateway Academy
07/12/2022
I volunteered at Gateway Academy for around three hours. Gateway Academy is a pre-
school and daycare facility. I helped during the afternoon time, a few hours before the
end of the day there. In my time there, I set up snack time for the children, helped
multiple teachers clean up their rooms, and helped supervise the children during
playtime. I wiped down the tables, set out the cups and bowls, and handed out the
snacks. After the children played, I helped them put away everything once they were
done. I swept and mopped the room near the end of the day as well.
11/04/2022
I volunteered at Due West for around two and a half hours. I helped set up the cakes and
the table for the cakewalk. I also labeled any cakes that people wanted to take home
later. Most of the time, I was behind the cake table, helping people pick their cakes and
such. Occasionally I would play the music and stop it for the cakewalk.

I volunteered at Harrison for around forty-five minutes. I helped clean up the classroom

reusable materials from the trash and organize everything. Occasionally I would help the
first-year students figure out where things went.
