Zandra: At sa maikling documentary na inyong napanood, Itinatakda ng batas na ito ang

pagtuturo ng mga kursyo tungkol sa ating pambansang Bayani na si Jose Rizal, At ngayon ay
matatalakay natin kung bakit ba kaylangan pag aralan ang buhay at ang akda ni rizal, at
masasaksihan natin ang bawat panig kung paano nila mapapatunayan kung dapat ba itong pag
aralan o hindi sa pamamagitan ng DEBATE.

SISIMULAN NATIN ITO KILA BRIDGETTE PIO AT BLEZY PIEZ

Ano ang nilalaman ng RA 1425 Bakit dapat pag-aralan ang buhay at mga akda ni Rizal sa mga
pampubliko at pribadong paaralan sa kolehiyo at unibersidad?

Pio - Ang buhay at mga gawa ni Dr. Jose Rizal ay kinakailangan pag-aralan dahil siya at
kaniyang kontribusyon sa bansa ay mahalagang bahagi ng kasaysayan at ng pakikibaka tungo
sa kasarinlan.
Ang Pag-aaral sa Buhay ang mga Gawa ni Dr. Jose Rizal.
Ang pag-aaral tungkol kay Dr. Jose Rizal ay mahalaga dahil siya ay ang pambansang bayani at
dakilang Pilipino. Ang pag-aaral sa buhay at mga gawa ni Rizal ay ipinag-uutos ng batas
partikular na ang Republic Act 1425 o mas kilala sa tawag na Rizal Law. Isinasaad ng batas na
ito ang kautusan na ituro ang buhay at mga katha ni Rizal at gawing bahagi ito ng kurikulum sa
antas primarya, sekondarya at kolehiyo. Bahagi nito ang pagtuturo ng dalawang tanyag na
nobela ni Rizal, ang Noli Me Tangere at El Filibusterismo.

ZANDRA - ANG TUGON NG ISANG PANIG NASISIMULAN NI MONJEM

Monjem - Ako ay hindi sang ayon sa pag papatupad na kailangan pag aralin pa ang akda ni
rizal o mas kilalang Rizal law, because the main goal of the Rizal law is to awaken the patriosim
of the youth and many articles have already claimed that the application of the rizal course in
college is found to be ineffective, another thing why I don’t find this relevant anymore is the fact
that the life and works of Rizal is already been discussed during elementary and highschool and
I believe that the further iteration of his life and works are not necessary in college anymore
since you already have knowledge about him.

Blezy- Still relevant today even with the presence of modern technology and social media
platforms that have changed that of the young people at present, the generation of today can
still learn from the life and works of Rizal because for Filipinos generally Rizal is an excellent
example of patriotism, he decided to put performing reforms on Philippine Independence.

Cedro - Sabi nga ni monjem Ito ay napag aralan na ng mga dumaan sa elementary at
highschool, I believe that even without Rizal’s subject in college, he still be recognized as hero
and nothing will change that.

pio - it is nessary to read the novels to read the novels of Rizal to open our minds about unjust
and deteriorating Spaniards colonial power.

Cedro - Its not necessary to read the rizal’s novels, knowing that there are other heroes who
also sacrifice for the sake of freedom.

blezy - I believed that through Rizal’s writings and self- sacrifice is a must to share to the
students up till college.

monjem- According to Sen. rodrigo together with roman catholic church officials against with this
bill because the novel Noli Me Tangere has negative views to the catholic church. And for me
it’s not good if it discuss in college if the novel’s of rizal is already tackled in elementary and
Highschool.

cedro - Additon of that I believed that Rizal is anti catholic and the bill violets the freedom of
conscience and religion.

pio- The Goal of us is Rizal’s bill/Law is to rededicate the lives of youth to the ideals of freedom
and nationalism, for which our heroes lived and died.

blezy - Additon to address that I believe that it is not just about the catholic teachings but its a
big part of our history who will taught us about patriotism.

Pio - for us who us in favor we just only justify the main goal of it. Ang mga sulatin at pakikibaka
ni Rizal ay mahalagang maituro lalo na sa mga kabataan dahil ito ay magandang halimbawa at
inspirasyon sa pagiging isang mabuting Pilipino, patriotismo at nasyonalismo.
Maliban sa patriotismo at nasyonalismo, ang mga likha ni Rizal ay nakapagtuturo ng mga
pagpapahalaga tulad ng mapanuring pag-lisip (critical thinking), kabutihan, paninidigan at
integridad.
Binibigyang linaw ng mga likha ni Rizal ang tunay nakalagayan ng mga Pilipino noong panahon
ng pananakop at itinataas nito ang kamalayaan patungkol sa kahalagahan ng demokrasya at
kalayaan.
Si Dr. Jose Rizal ay isang dakilang Pilipino. Maraming pagpapahalaga ang maaaring matutuhan
mula sa kaniyang buhay at mga likha. Ang pag-aaral tungkol sa kaniya ay nakapagpapataas ng
kamalayan ng mga Pilipino at pagpapahalaga sa kasaysayan.
Monjem - Rizal Is still hero even though hindi na pag aralan ito sa kolehiyo, Named Dr. Jose
Rizal Is mark as one of heroes, we against just only about the bill cause we believed that it will
just create hate and confusion of faith.

Zandra- Narinig na natin ang pahayag ng bawat panig, and both parties has it’s reasons and
points.

The similarities of the two views is that, Both of it has its reasons and points. They just want to
spread more understandings and reflect the impacts as the bill is being passed. and also both of
the views just want to protect/prove their own points and they don’t want to create confusions to
the Filipino’s

The differences of the two views is that, those in favor just want to rededicate the lives of the
youth to the ideals of nationalism and patriotism. They just wants us as filipinos to open our
eyes about the unjust colonization of the friars.

INDEED, I the life and works of Rizal indicated in RA 1425 creates a big impact to the lives of
the filipinos and to our filipino youth.

Many might disagree about the bill, but we can't deny the fact that it opens our eyes about the
importance of being makabayan.
