Grammar Auction:
Divide students into groups and give each group a budget
of imaginary money. Write several sentences on the board,
some of which contain grammar errors. Students must
"buy" the sentences they believe are correct. After all
sentences have been "bought," review each one and award
points to the groups that correctly identified error-free
sentences.

Story Chain:
Students sit in a circle. One student begins a story with a
sentence using a specific grammar point. The next student
continues the story by adding a sentence with the same
grammar point. The story continues around the circle until it
reaches a natural conclusion. This activity can be adapted to
practice different grammar concepts.

Taboo Grammar:
Create cards with target grammar structures or phrases,
along with a list of "taboo" words that students cannot use
while describing the structure. Divide the class into two
teams. One student from each team must describe the
grammar concept on the card without using the taboo words,
while their team tries to guess the structure.

Grammar Pictionary:
Divide students into teams. One student from each team
draws a card containing a specific grammar concept (e.g.,
past progressive tense). The student must then draw a
picture to represent that concept without writing any words.
The rest of the team must guess the grammar point based on
the drawing.

Charades:
Create cards with sentences demonstrating specific grammar
structures. Students take turns acting out the situation
described in the sentence without speaking. The other

point being practiced.

Board Game:
Design a board game that incorporates various grammar
challenges, such as forming questions, changing verb tenses,
or using different sentence structures. Students roll a die and
move their game pieces around the board, completing the
grammar challenges on the spaces they land on.
