A Next-Gen Career Carnival

Tentative venue: Aloki Convention Center, Tejgaon.

BYLC Career Expo 2023

BYLC Career Expo is a one-of-a-kind placement program for aspiring job seekers looking for employment opportunities.
Unlike any other career fair, BYLC Career Expo provides 360-degree solutions to candidates and employers at the same
time. From mock interviews to resume vetting and final interviews, candidates and employers will go through a
recruitment process where OPD professionals provide all the necessary interventions.

The theme for this expo will focus on the future of jobs and the skills youth need to adapt to an ever-evolving world that
is becoming more and more dependent on artificial intelligence. Considering the advancements in technology and its
future impact on the job market, OPD has taken the initiative to blend artificial intelligence with career development
skills.

Some of the components at the BYLC Career Expo 2023 will include resume vetting, mock interviews, parallel sessions,
exciting competitions, capstone project presentations, and various engaging activities to be conducted throughout the
day. During the event, participants will have the opportunity to showcase their own projects at dedicated stalls.
Simultaneously, participating organizations will be able to showcase their job openings on the event day.

● Capstone project presentation of BYLC Career Bootcamp

Expected outcomes of the Career Expo 2023:

● 100-day social media activation campaign


● 20+ university day-long campus activation
● 3 competitions during the months of April-May for engagement purposes
● 2000+ participants at the day-long expo event
● 40+ employers from different sectors
● 20+ university clubs and 10+ youth engagement partners participate in the event
● 50+ industry professionals, speakers, and resource persons
● 500+ job openings

Participant’s eligibility: Fresh graduates and young professionals with 1 to 2 years of job experience.

University Club Proposal for Partnership

For the upcoming event titled BYLC Career Expo 2023, we are offering several amenities to our partners, sponsors, and
contributors. The event will be one-of-a-kind, providing not only the participants but also those who are a part of it with
an unique opportunity. The event will provide five core benefits to the partner clubs. -

1. Branding: These opportunities will allow partners to display their logos and works to event attendees. Their
logos and statics will be displayed in the onsite banner, the event website, emails, videos, event slides, and
online promotion based on the extent of their contribution.
2. Lead opportunities: It is anticipated that around 50 recognized organizations and over 2,000 attendees would
attend the physical event. By being part of the event, the partners will have an opportunity to promote their
organization and build up a strong network with both employers and participants.
3. Promotion: The partners will have the chance to promote their contributions to the community. Also, they can
present their work to prospective employers.
4. Credibility and reputation: Associating with well-known and reputable organization like BYLC can lend
credibility and legitimacy to the university club's brand and increase their perceived authority in the youth
leadership and career development space.
5. Professional development opportunities: This can be a valuable resource for club members who want to
develop their skills and knowledge to advance their careers.

BYLC is looking forward to onboarding your club as a University Club Partner in return for multiple value propositions.
Your club can contribute to the event in the following ways:
The application fee for the expo is 400 BDT. Special discounts will be available for the club partners.

Additionally, the top three club partners will get a special award during the program in recognition of ensuring the
maximum number of applicants and the highest conversion rate from those applications at BYLC Career Expo 2023.

If you choose to be a partner of the BYLC Career Expo 2023, you will be required to:

1. Present at BYLC headquarter to sign the MOU at a given date.


2. Attend a photo and video shoot for promotional purposes at BYLC headquarter.
3. Post and share around 10 promotional contents (static and video) which will be provided by BYLC at different
times, and provide screenshots of the posts.
4. Arrange an activation campaign program on your respective campus by communicating with university
authorities on behalf of BYLC for 2-3 days. Logistical support will be provided by BYLC.
