WHAT: Media Day for the “Magic Happens” Parade at Disneyland Park

BACKGROUND: The “Magic Happens” parade is the first new daytime parade in nearly a
decade. The parade premiered as part of Disney Park’s 65th anniversary
celebration. After two years of preparation, the parade is set to debut
tomorrow, February 28th. The process includes hundreds of dancers,
welders, painters, engineers and vendors to make sure the parade goes
smoothly. Disney Parks has had more than 40 parades launched in its
lifetime, with the “Magic Happens” parade being the latest one.

NEWS INTEREST: Disneyland in Anaheim is getting its first new daytime parade in nearly a
decade. Guests will be available to experience a live performance filled
with floats, music, and dancers. Classic Disney songs will have a
contemporary twist to them, having a more modern take on fan favorite
songs. Guests will be able to experience floats, dancers, and live music in
Main Street, Disneyland.

OPPORTUNITIES: There will be plenty photo opportunities throughout the parade. All the
floats and dancers throughout the parade are available for photo capture.
Capture the excitement of the guests, as well as the excited dancers and
Disney Characters. There will be many Disney characters from different
Disney classics available for capture. B-roll footage of rehearsals and
floats construction will be provided as well.
