SOUND ABSORBING AND VIBRATION DAMPING MATERIALS

 Foamed sandwich panel and vibration damping sheet steel are used widely and vibration damping materials such
as asphalt sheet with a resin binding are used where they will be most effective. This full use of sound absorbing
material reduces noise and vibration and increases the vehicle’s quietness. The basic structure of the vibration
damping sheet steel and the resin binding asphalt sheet remains the same as those of the previous model.

 Foamed material is allocated to the front roof panel, pillars, and door frame interior to reduce wind noise.
