Introduction
Narrator (Yaadavi) - Good morning one and all present here. Today, my
friends Rihana, Riddhi, Rishabh, Tejit, Saiansh, Vivaan Arora, Samaira, Sanvi,
Vivan Bhargava and me Yaadavi are going to articulate on the topic of
discrimination on the basis of gender.
Scene 1
Teacher (Rihana)- Today I am going to choose the class monitor. And the
class monitor is Vivaan Arora!
Student (Vivaan A)- Oh yes! Of course. That was course to happen.
Student (Samaira)- But why! He didn’t even get good marks in the exams. I
was the topper. I should be the monitor.
Teacher (Rihana)- That’s the way how it is! Boys are better than girls.
Narrator (Yaadavi)- The teacher walks out of the class as the bell rings.
Student (Samaira)- (in spite) Why are you always the centre of attention?
Student (Vivaan A)- Why are you always so jealous of me?
Narrator (Yaadavi)-In our society there is a general tendency to value and
care for the boy child more than the girl child, this means that society does
not value the girl and boy child equally, and this is injust.

Scene 2
Teacher (Rihana)- (loudly) So, students I have good news for all of you.
Narrator (Yadaavi)- All the students get exited.
Teacher (Rihana)- The school is planning a trip for the boys to Lohagargh
Farm. All interested students may submit their names to me with their
parents' signatures and pay ₹2000.
Student (Samaira)- Only boys! But why are girls not allowed?
Teacher (Rihana)- The activities in Lohagargh Farm are dangerous & require a
lot of strength and energy. The boys are strong but the girls are weeak so the
girls are not allowed.
Narrator (Yaadavi) - And just like that the girls of the school got discriminated
yet again.

Scene 3
Narrator (Yaadavi)-Samaira walks home upset.
Panch (Riddhi)-Kya hua?
Student (Samaira)-Mere school me sab boys ko ache se treat kar rahe hain
aur girls ke against jah rahe hain, bas school mein hi nahi , har jagah aise ho
raha hai.
Panch (Riddhi)-Yeh toh bahut galat ho raha hai, hamein is vishay mein kuch
karna hoga, tum mere sath panchayat ke pass chalo.
Narrator (Yaadavi)-Riddhi and Samaira reach the place where the Panchayat
is and the Sarpanch is surprised to see Riddhi with the little girl.
Sarpanch (Vivan)- Kya hua Riddhi? Yeh kaun hai?
Panch (Riddhi)-Jab mai yahan aa rahi thi tabhi mujhe yeh ladki dukkhi nazar
aai.
Sarpanch (Vivan)-Kya hua?
Student (Samaira)- Mere school me sab boys ko ache se treat kar rahe hain
aur girls ke against jah rahe hain, bas school mein hi nahi , har jagah aise ho
raha hai.
Sarpanch (Vivan)-Theeke hai, main kuch karta hun.
Narrator (Yaadavi)-Samaira walks home.

Scene-4
Sarpanch (Vivan B)- Ek panchayat ghoshit ki jaye.
Panch (Riddhi)-Theek hain me sabhi panchon ko bulati hoon.
Narrator (Yaadavi)– All the panch have arrived to the panchayat.
Sarpanch (Vivan)- Humare gaon me chal rhe bhed-bhav ko kese rok sakte
hain? kisi ke pass koi sujhav hai kya?
Panch (Tejit)- Kesa bhed-bhav ho rha hai?
Sarpanch (Vivan)- Ladkiyaan jo prudence school mein padhti hai, unke sath
anyay hota hai. Ladke aur ladkiyon me bhed –bhav hota hai.
Panch (Tejit)- Isme kya galat hai jo ho rha hai theek hi toh ho rha hai
Panch (Rishabh ) - Jo ho rha hai wo galat hai hume isko rokna chaihye.
Panch (Tejit ) - Yeh tum kya bol rhe ho.
Sarpanch (Vivan) - Tejit yeh tum kya keh rhe ho ling ka bhed –bhav galat
hain.
Panch (Tejit ) - Hamesha se yeh hi hota aa rha hain.
Panch (Rishabh) - Hum sare gaon wasion ko bola kr sab ke opay lete hain.
Panch (Riddhi) - Yeh theek hai ,hum ling ke bhed –bhav ko rokne ke liye koi
rasta zaroor nikalenge.

Scene- 5
Narrator-The villager’s and the panchayat have arrived to the meeting spot
Villager (Sanvii & Vivaan A)-Hume yha kyun bolaya hai?
Panch (Rishabh) - Hum ne aap logo ko bolaya hain kyonki hamein ling ke
bhed bhav ko rokne ke liye koi sujhav chahiye!
Villager (Saiansh)-Ling ka bhed bhav?
Panch (Riddhi)-Prudence school mein ladkon ko ladkiyon se zada acha treat
kiya ja raha hai, or keval school mein hi nahi baki jagahon par bhi!
Sarpanch (Vivan B)-Abh sabhi apne-apne sujhav denge ki ham ling ke bhed
bhav ko kaise roken.
Panch (Rihana)-Hamein ladkiyon ka alag se school kholna chahiye.
Panch (Tejit)-Mai toh keh raha hun jo ho raha hai sahi hai.
Villager (Saiansh)-Haan Tejit sahi keh raha hai.
Sarpanch (Vivan B)-Aisa Karte Hainlet’s ban discrimination in this village
permently! Aur ab jo bhi bhed-bhav karega uske sath sact-se-sact karavai
hoegi!
Ending
Narrator (Yaadavi)- Now the girls of the
village never get discriminated. So
remember that: Both men & women
should feel free to be sensitive & strong.
