Analysis and Interpretation:


Based on the data above learners are having difficulty meeting the competencies that
are about writing paragraph and constructing simple sentences. The intervention that is
applicable to help the learners to target these competencies, teacher should provide activities
where learners will enhance their writing skills or expressing their ideas through writing.

Analysis and Interpretation:


58 Grade 8 learners took the assessment for Filipino 7 and only 7 of them met the
target MPL this implies that they needed intervention and remediation to meet these Most
Essential Competencies (MELCS). Based on the result of their exam the objectives that they
are struggling are defining the words taken from the text and interpreting and analyzing the
text; as a result these learners should be provided various activities where they are task to use
dictionary or context clues that will widen their vocabularies.
