Welcome to Kick Brand Identity guidelines.

These guidelines have been set to outline the standards of


consistency within the visual identity of the brand image.
This style guide focuses on the planning of the correct
application, color, typography and visuals, establishing the
brands boldness and visual marketing appeal.

Defined styles and guidelines help us design a wide variety


of experience that still always feels like Kick.

Voice & Tone


We are straightforward and balanced, we are the
overarching caretaker with our voice and tone
remaining strong and bold.

While we intend to have a more conversational,


human tone in the main, that doesn't mean that
we’re overly informal. Our tone will vary depending
on the audience, the context and the information
that we need to convey.

Design
Our bold design style gives us an implied
authority and an almost interrupting or impeding
presence. We want to create a space of safety
and familiarity that resonates at a
multigenerational level, while using sentimental /
modern theme.

Avoid using pixelated and blurry graphics and


imagery. Utilize our brandmarks and elements to
showcase our brand to be always modern and
on-trend.

Our Logo
Primary Logo
The Kick logo consists of the word mark. It’s an
instantly recognizable brand element and we want to
present our logo consistently to convey a coherent
message and reliably uphold our values.

In no way should the logo be modified, distorted, or


redrawn.

Always use the logo files provided. Do not re-create.

Secondary Logo
Our secondary logo consists of the letter ‘K’ from the
primary logo to add flexibility and enhances our
personality.

Kick cuts
Kick Cuts is our logo icon sized with the pixel
cuts sized down.

This extension of the brand icon gives us a


method to create unique branding out of
nothing more than the edges of an art board.

Clear Space
To ensure the right amount of breathing Primary Logo
space around the Kick logo, a clear space
zone should be applied. No graphic
elements of any kind should invade this
zone. To work out the clear space take the
height and width of our secondary logo and
measure around each logo.

Small Use
To ensure legibility of our logo, the Minimum size for
primary logo should only be used when our Primary Logo
the logo size is at least 90px wide. For 90px
any sizes smaller than that, please use
our secondary logo.

Usage on

We use the Kick logo as a standalone brand element.

By doing so, it creates a strong and distinctive brand


symbol. Using white logo on Dark Grey or our primary
green brand color should always be the favorite options.
For any other use cases, see the hierarchy below.

Logo Placement
Please always put our logo at the bottom left of all Internal Use
imagery.

We want to create a unified branding structure.


Showing the logo with consistent placement
creates a sense of belonging for the logo, the
viewer can become comfortable with its presence
across all branding.

External Use

Always use our Primary Logo for external use to


better represent our brand, and use our
Secondary Logo for internal use to achieve a
simplified and clean look.

Primary color Kick’s Signature Green

A vibrant green is used as our primary color, RGB 0, 231, 1
it is bold, bright and draws attention the CMYK 85, 0, 100, 0
moment it is shown, it holds Kick’s brand PMS 32
values perfectly.

Use it as accent color to make Kick stand out.

Our neutral colors come in the forms of dark grey


and blacks, they provide Kick’s Signature Green Hex 191B1F Grey 800
more contrast, to be easily seen and become more
visually striking.

and harmonic feeling, which fits perfectly into our
brand values of making our audience feel welcome.

Imagery.

Use of Kick cuts


When using the Kick Cuts, always center align the far
right pixel cluster, then center align the top and bottom
clusters with the image.

The use of the Cuts should be used to add a branding


mark on an image that otherwise has no Kick brand
affiliations.

When working with an image, if the green doesn’t have


enough contrast, there is also a black option that can
be used if needed.

Bold Graphics
These bold graphics are our special way

of connecting product to person.

The assets used will have screens which


are able to be customized to show
different elements of the Kick experience.
This instills in a person the feeling that
Kick is not just a platform, but it can be
YOUR platform. A platform that can be on
your device, controlled by you; making
YOU the center and focus of Kick.

Social Media 1
The guidelines for social platforms such as Twitter, Reddit,
Discord, Instagram, etc, have been optimized for our
unique presentation of content.

For the sake of maintaining a consistent and comfortable


balance of branding and content, these guidelines should
be followed with the exception of good judgment and the
consideration of the grid as a whole.

The instagram grid design has an array of
options to choose from when creating a post;

a diversity that is crucial to the display of the


brand on this platform and others.

There are options to share minimal and message


oriented text in an engaging and refreshing
format. We also have ways to show images,
games, streamer reveals and updates, recaps
and so much more.

Easily customizable, clean, simple, information

oriented and flexible within the guides.

This format is for landscape imagery supported

by platforms like Facebook, Twitter, Reddit, etc.

Face Lock
Face Lock is a bounding box that can
be applied to faces of New Streamers
or Sponsors when promoting the brand.

It can be used on its own Instagram


template as well as other landscape
social media posts. Always shown in
our signature green.

Video should be displayed as just fullscreen

video accompanied by the logo icon.

Any information should be shared in the video

description style of the platform used.

The portrait format should be displayed inside

the “Kick Frame” with a blurred parallel clip

behind it.
