Cloud Computing Lab

In this introductory Lab, student will create an AWS account and learn how to access AWS
EC2 services using the AWS console.
Objective: In this lab, you will learn to:
• Create an AWS account.
• All possible way to access AWS services that means to navigate the AWS Management
Console (Familiarity with AWS Account, Billing, cost Dashboard, cost explorer, etc.)
• Launch the window EC2 Instance and connect using RDP and review all instance
properties.
• Run and configure an IIS web server and make static HTML webpage for the shake of
familiarity.
• Launch the Linux EC2 Instance and connect using PuTTY and review all instance properties.

a. Create an EC2 instance and allocate the required resources to it.
