WORK CENTRE CONDITIONS

PROTOCOL

Purpose of this protocol:

• To ensure compliance with current regulations regarding workplace health and safety.
• To guarantee a good cooperation between the work centre, the university, and the student, to meet all learning
purposes during the internship in the company. These requirements are pre-requisites for the approval of the work
centre as an organization/company training host.

2. ENSURING ENOUGH KNOWLEDGE ON TRAINING AT THE WORKPLACE

A) THE HOST ORGANISATION/COMPANY AFFIRMS IT HAS THE NECESSARY KNOWLEDGE REGARDING:

The parties acknowledge that they have sufficient legal capacity to execute this agreement in accordance with the
following regulations.
• Royal Decree 592/2014, of 11 July, on external academic placements for university students.
• The Statute of the University Student, approved by Royal Decree 1791/2010 of 30 December.
• The regulations on external academic placements, approved by the UAB Governing Council on 10 December
2014.

The importance of considering the rights and duties of students/companies while complying with:
The educational purpose and guiding of the Internships and stays in the comany.
The Insurance
Training hous
Options to opt for both the company and the students to a Termination of the agreement.

B) THE HOST WORK CENTRE ASSURES ITS COMPLIANCE WITH CURRENT REGULATIONS REGARDING:

• Compliance with Workplace Health and Safety Regulations.


• Any regulations specifically pertaining to the company's own sector.
• Compliance with the Internships Agreement.
• The company accepts to complete any survey carried out during and /or after the internship period and training in
the work center.

C) INTERNSHIP AGREEMENT APPLICATION

• Once the internship agreement request is completed, it must be sent to practiques.btreball.fuabformacio@uab.cat


10 days before the start date of the internship.

• The internship agreements’ signature must be done, by default, electronically.

• The internship cannot be started if the agreement is not duly formalized and signed by the three parties
involved. It must be signed by the company/institution, the student, and the University 5 days before the start date
of the internship. In case of exceeding this deadline, you the company will need to contact the university to set a new
starting date and restart the signing process. Under no circumstances can agreements be formalized retroactively,
that is, with an internship start date prior to signing the agreement; nor will a period of internships without an
agreement be considered, for academical purposes or validation of experience.
