Football
'Passing'
Passing means to send the ball accurately to a teammate. Through passing, a team can quickly
counterattack from defense, maintain possession in midfield, and create opportunities to score
a goal.

Types of passes
Passing the ball:
• Push pass
• Instep pass/kick
• Lofted pass/kick
NOTE: The term 'kick' is used when the ball is played with power and speed.
SKILL:
1. Push Pass (Passing using the inside of the foot)
Push pass allows you to send the ball with precision and control to your teammate. It requires
less power. This skill is also referred to as ‘passing the ball with the inside (arch) of the foot’.
