5- In order to trap the fruit flies, so they won’t be able to get out once they
enter the wrapped cup. That’s mainly because they must land on the wrap in order
to enter, but cannot fly out through the small holes.

V)Poetry:

A) Answer the following questions after reading the poem:

1) The main theme of the poem we should always learn new skills and not waste
our time on silly things such as playing games.

2) In the first stanza, the poet says that in a future time and place whether that
is here on earth or in outer space, there will always be an opportunity for humans
to learn the skills that they need. In the third stanza the poet tells us to learn
these new skills and world is still full of mysteries to be discovered and not to let
anything distract us because the time we waste having fun today will not be
returned to us tomorrow.

3) The poet’s advice in the last stanza is that we should be good to ourselves and
study with passion so that we can learn new skills that will benefit us in life. He
also says that if we do this we will find ourselves ahead of everyone else.

4) He means that the chance is there for us to learn and we only need to make
that choice.
