“This series is a must-see for all Montanans because this crisis affects every one of us, Indigenous or
not,” said Luella Brien, founder, editor-in-chief and executive director with Four Points Media. “MMIP is
not an Indigenous issue, it's a human issue, and we need to come together as a state to find solutions.
No more stolen relatives, it must stop.”

MURDER IN BIG HORN, directed by Razelle Benally and Matthew Galkin, discusses the many factors that
have created the national MMIW crisis while highlighting several Montana cases that thrust the
movement into the national spotlight. Told solely through the perspectives of the families, journalists
and local law enforcement involved, MURDER IN BIG HORN amplifies the voices of a movement that
have been fighting for justice and calling for answers.

“We invite all people to the screening and panel discussion who would like to learn more about the
important issue of Missing and Murdered Indigenous People to our state and country,” said Jen Euell,
Missoula YWCA executive director. “Only through education and awareness-building can we come
together and find solutions.”
University Center Theater seating is limited and will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. This
event is made possible by the generous support of Sandy Mitchell.

MUDER IN BIG HORN is now available to stream on SHOWTIME and all partner platforms.
