Hat bag Procedure

Materials:
•Yarns, 5 ply (color of choice)
•Crochet needles
•Buttons
•Yung pangsnap(lock) forgot the
name kayo na maghanap
•yung pansabit na hooks idk the
name

Terms:
Dc-double crochet
Sc-single crochet
Ss-slip stitch
R- round/row
Granny squares

1. Create a magic circle and chain


four(4).
2. R1: Create one(1) double crochet
and chain one(1). Repeat this for
eleven (11) times.
3. Pull the yarn tail to close the
circle. Slip stitch into the very first
double crochet.
4.R2: Create a single crochet then
chain two (2). In the same stitch,
create one dc.
5. For the next 11 stitches, chain 3
and make two dc. Ss into the first
stitch of the round.
6. R3: Single crochet into the first
stitch of the second round. Chain 2
and crochet two dc in the same
space/stitch.
7. In the next two stitches/spaces,
create three dc each. In the next
space, create 3 dc, chain three,
then make another round of 3 dc.
Repeat this pattern for 11 times.
8. Slip stitch into the first stitch.
9. Cut the excess yarn, then hide
the excess by sewiing it in place.
10. Repeat the same steps to
create eight granny squares in total.
11. Sew eight granny squares side
by side using ss.

Hat bag base:

1. For the first round, start by


creating a magic ring. Chain 3 and
make 15 dc. Pull the yarn tail tighly
to close the circle. Ss into the very
first stitch.
2. R2: Create 3 chains and crochet
2 dc in the firat 15 stitches. For the
last stitch, make only one dc. Ss in
the very first stitch. Count to make
sure there are 32 stitches in total.
3. R3: Chain 3 and make 2 dc in the
first
stitch. Crochet 1 dc and 2 dc
alternatively im the next 15 stitches.
Count the make sure there are 48
stitches. Ss in the first stitch.
4. R4: Chain 3 and create 1 dc in
the next stitch. In the third stitch,
create 2 dc. For the next 15
stitches, create one dc in the next
two stitches and crochet 2 dc in
every third stitch. Repeat for 15
times to make 64 stitches in total.
Ss into the first stitch.
5. R5: Chain three and dc in every
stitch. Create 64 stitches in total. Ss
in the first stitch.
6. R6: Chain 3 and create 1 dc each
in the next 2 stitches. In the fourth
stitch, create 2 dc. For the next 15
stitches, create one dc in the next
three stitches and crochet 2 dc in
every fourth stitch. Repeat for 15
times creating 80 stitches in total.
Ss into the first stitch finish the
round.
6. R7: Chain 3 and dc in every stitch
making
another round of 80 stitches.Ss into
the first stitch finish the round.
7. R8: Create 3 chains, dc in the
next three stitches, in the fifth stitch,
create 2 dc. Crochet one dc in the
next four stitches and create 2 dc in
every fifth stitch. Repeat this
pattwrn for 15 times to create 96
stitches overall. Ss in the first stitch.
8. R9: Chain 3. Dc in every stitch
making another round of 96
stitches. Ss in the first stitch of this
round.
9. R10: Chain 3, crochet one dc in
the next 5 stitches, then crochet 2
dc in the 7th stitch. Crochet one dc
in every 6 stitches and 2 dc in every
7th stitch. There should be 112
stitches in total. Ss into the very first
stitch to finish this round.
10. R11: Chain 3. Crochet one dc in
the next 6 stitches. In the 8th stitch,
make 2 dc. To proceed, crochet one
dc in every 7 stitches and make 1
dc in every 8th stitch. Repeat
until there are 128 stitches in total.
Ss into the very first stitch.
11. R12: For the last round, chain 3
and dc intp every stitch. Create
another round of 128 stitches in
total. Ss into the first stitch to finish
the round.
12. Cut the excess yarn. Tuck and
lock in the yarn by sewing it into the
stitches underneath.
13. Join the hat bag base and the
granny squares together by slip
stitching it together. This will make
the body of the hat bag.

Brim:
Terms: stitch/es-st

1. R13: make a sc in the first stitch


in the bottom of the hat bag body.
Chain 2, then create one dc in the
next 7 stitches. In the
ninth stitch, crochet 2 dc in place.
Crochet one dc in every 8 stitches
and crochet 2 dc in every 9th stitch.
Create 144 stitches in total. Ss into
the very first stitch.
R14: Chain 3, dc into every stitch.
Ss into the first stitch.
R15: Chain 3, 8 dc, dc2 ( 9 dc,
dc2)x15 (160 stitches in total.
R16: Chain 3, dc into every stitch.
Ss into the first stitch.
R17: Chain 3, 9 dc, dc2 (10 dc, dc2)
x15 (176 st)
R18: Chain 3, dc into every stitch.
Ss into the first stitch.
R19: Chain 3, 10 dc, dc2(11
dc ,dc2) x15 (192 st)
R20: Chain 3, dc into every stitch.
Ss into the first stitch.
2. Cut excess yarn and tuck it and
lock it in place by sewing the yarn
underneath the st.
3. Place thw locks(yung di ko alam
tawag reh) in place in the brim to
finish the hat bag body.

Strap:

1. Chain 250. Skip one chain then


dc in the next stitches 'til the last
stitch. For the second round, once
again, dc into every stitches.
2. For the final layer. Sc into every
stitches at both sides. Ss into the
very first sc to lock in place. Sew
the excess yarn underneath the st
to finish.
3. Place buttons in the strap
depending on how long and how
adjustable you wnat the strap to be.
Chain 3 and sew it in the strap to
act as the strap closer/placer.
4. Place the (yung pansabit) into the
hat bag body. You can now use the
product as a hat and a bag.
