GUIDELINES TO SITES/PARTICIPATING TEAMS

1.0 Assessment Criteria:

Time Management 10 Marks
Case Study Presentation 20 Marks
Methodology/Application of Problem Solving Tools 30 Marks
Applicability to other NTPC Stations 10 Marks
Tangible/Intangible Benefits 10 Marks
Q&A 20 Marks
Total marks 100 Marks

2.0 Time Duration for each presentation : 15 Minutes

First Buzzer After 12 Minutes from the start
Final Buzzer After 15 Minutes from the start
Q&A 5 Minutes after final buzzer
Only Judges and AGM(BE),SRHQ shall pose the questions.
No others are allowed.
3.0 Three best Presentations shall be selected for awarding First, Second and Third
prizes. Two consolation prizes also will be given.
4.0 Each site i.e. Ramagundam, Simhadri, Kudgi, RGCCPP and NTECL-Vallur can
send three teams, who are placed at first, second and third positions in their
respective unit level PIP convention, to the regional convention. Even if, unit level
convention is not held at their end by any site, for knowledge sharing and
motivating the teams, HOD(BE) of such sites can nominate their best three PIP
teams for the convention with the approval of the HOP.
5.0 Site BE has to send the details of the participating Team details to BE Dept.,
SRHQ.

6.0 Each participating team shall have 3-4 members only.

8.0 Site BE has to send the registration forms, Synopsis and PPT to SRHQ BE, for
onward transmission to judges. PPTs have to be in the standard format given.
9.0 Participating teams from site have to make their own arrangements for
accommodation and for local travel.
10.0 Venue: VI Floor Conference Hall, SRHQ Office, Kavadiguda, Secunderabd.
11.0 Date of Convention and program schedule shall be informed shortly.
