National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Post Graduates commonly known as NEET PG is a
national-level entrance exam for admission to all Master of Surgery (MS)/Doctor of Medicine
(MD)/PG Diploma Courses under the All India quota seats, state quota seats, deemed/central
universities, Armed Forces Medical Services (AFMS) Institutes as well as DNB Broad speciality
courses.

On the basis of NEET PG counselling admission will be granted to 26,168 Doctor of Medicine
(MD), 13,649 Master of Surgery (MS), and 922 PG Diploma in 6,102 government, private,

N EET PG EXAM DATES
The NEET PG 2023 exam date has been announced by the National Board of Examination
(NBE). As per the latest update, the NEET PG exam date is March 5.
NBE releases the information brochure pdf for NEET PG for aspiring candidates. The bulletin
comprises all the important dates of NEET PG events, such as the NEET PG registration date,
NEET PG exam details, results, and many more.

N EET PG APPLICATION FORM
The application form for NEET PG can be filled in six steps, which are mentioned below. It is
mandatory to upload a passport-size photograph, signature, and left-hand thumb impression in
the application form, as per the specifications of NBE.
The application fee can be paid online mode only through credit/debit cards and net banking. No

N EET PG COUNSELLING AND ADMISSION PROCESS
Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) on behalf of Medical Counselling Committee
(MCC) conducts the counselling of NEET PG in online mode for admission to 50% All India
Quota (AIQ), deemed, central universities and ESIC colleges. Candidates qualifying for the
NEET PG exam by securing the minimum qualifying percentile are eligible to participate in the
counselling process.
Scope of counselling:
● 50% All India Quota (AIQ) seats

● AFMS Institutions

● Deemed Universities
● State quota seats in government colleges in the state
● State quota seats in private medical institutions in the state
● Universities established by an Act of State
● Universities established by municipal bodies trust, society or company

Counselling registration
● Enter details such as name, date of birth, roll number, application form number, security code,
and other relevant information
● Verify the details and submit them carefully

Payment of registration fee
Pay the category-wise registration fee for counselling.
● Pay the security deposit according to the category. The security deposit is refundable, however,
can be fortified in certain circumstances during counselling.
● Payment of the counselling fee can be made only via online mode.
● After successful payment of counselling fee, a registration slip for the candidates will be
generated.
● Download the registration slip.

● Take a printout of the slip for future reference.

● Visit the MCC website, mcc.nic.in.
● Login using the credentials - stream (medical/dental), roll number, and password
● Start filling in your choices of course and college for seat allotment
● To add a new choice click on the ‘+’ button

To rearrange the order of any choice, drag the choice to the desired position
Once satisfied with the choices filled, click on ‘save and next’ to lock the choices.
If a candidate forgets to lock the choices filled, they will be automatically locked.

● Aspirants need to verify the choices locked as the NEET PG seat allotment will be done on the
basis of choices filled.
● Candidates can take a printout of their filled choices for future reference.

N EET PG Cutoff for Admission
The cutoff for admission is the last rank and equivalent marks at which admission to a particular
college, specialty, and category will be granted. Admission will be granted on the basis of NEET
PG rank, preferences of colleges as well as courses, seat availability, reservation criteria, and
other factors.
