III. PROBLEM PRESENTED

Client is a registered beneficiary of Pantawid Pamilya Pilipino Program and was identified Code 19 – Grants
Temporarily On-Hold. The household was identified ineligible because her husband is a barangay official
thus, was marked on the list under GRS Inclusion error.
IV. BACKGROUND INFORMATION

The grantee is 38 years old married and a mother of (3) children. She is presently residing at Barangay
Lirongan, Talakag,Bukidnon.
The family’s shelter is made up of a light materials like wood and galvanized iron roofing. It is situated near
the national road of Lirongan.

On June 2007, the grantees husband Roger was elected as Barangay Kagawad of Lirongan, Talakag,
Bukidnon. He served as Barangay Kagawad for his second term. The approximate income of the husband Roger
for his occasional truck driving activity is at Php 5,000.00, while his monthly honorarium is at Php 5,500.00 per
month. Therefore, the approximate family monthly income of the household is Php 10,500.

During the worker’s visit it was known from collateral interviews that the family has acquired several
properties like second hand motorcycle and television.

Last March 6, 2015, the Cluster Grievance Officer and the assigned worker conducted household assessment
subject for re-run through proxy means test to determine the status of eligibility of the grantee. During the visit,
the grantee showed cooperation and welcomed the said interview.

Currently, the grantee has been marked as ON-HOLD STATUS in the database while her case is undergoing
deliberation in the MIAC and other processes to be undertaken.

V. ASSESSMENT

The household has been found out to be economically insufficient based on their income status and
employment.
Although the husband is a barangay official and at the same time occasionally works as a truck driver,
Unfortunately, it does not guaranteed that they have a sufficient source of income. The wife on the other hand
is a plain housewife.

Granting the high prices of commodities in the community, the family clearly is in need of assistance from
the government for their children to continue their education. Presently, her son Jay-r is studying in Bukidnon
State University in Malaybalay as recipient of CHED Grants in aid Program.
VI. RECOMMENDATION

The undersigned worker highly recommended that the household to be retain in the program.
