Having seen the Ministerial Decree dated March 6th 1992 dealing with “technical and
procedural rules for Classification of reaction to Fire and Homologation of Fire
Retardant (F.R.) coatings applied on wooden substrate”,

Having seen the Ministerial Decree dated March 6th 1992 dealing with “technical and
procedural rules for Fire reaction Classification and Homologation of F.R. paints
applied on wooden materials”,

Having seen the application submitted by ICLA Srl, located in Via Spangaro , 1 - zip
30030 PESEGGIA (Venice), manufacturer of the F. R. paint named: “C.T.I. CICLO
TRASPARENTE IGNIFUGO” to obtain the Homologation of its own products, for
Fire Prevention purposes,

Having seen the Fire Retardant laboratory test n. 3303/44/99-RFV/070 dated

October 13th , 1999 made for such products by the National Fire Guard Research and
Testing Laboratory located in Rome - Capannelle,

Having seen the Manufacturer’s declaration (Technical Data Sheet) attached to the test
certificate, written by ICLA Srl, PESEGGIA (Venice),

WE GRANT THE HOMOLOGATION N° VE1654PVI100001

for Fire Prevention purposes , to the master sample of the F. R. paint named “C.T.I. -
CICLO TRASPARENTE IGNIFUGO”, manufactured by ICLA Srl, located in
PESEGGIA (Venice)

Such paint obtained “CLASS 1 (ONE) OF REACTION TO FIRE” and we give

approval to its re-production, according to the above mentioned Ministerial Decree,
with all the characteristics of the product submitted to the test, plus all those declared
by the manufacturer in its Technical Data Sheet.

This Homologation statement is not valid and cannot be assigned to Fire Retardant
paints which have not been applied as specified in the Technical Data Sheet written by
the Manufacturer and attached to the Fire Reaction test report.

the following set of information has to be shown on the label of every container of the
paint subject to this Homologation statement :

MANUFACTURER’S NAME: ICLA Srl (or any other distinctive name)
YEAR OF PRODUCTION: (to be written)
CLASS OF REACTION TO FIRE: 1 (one)
CODE: VE1654PVI100001

The whole set of the above mentioned information and the period of efficiency of the
product (which cannot be longer than 5 years from the application time) should be
shown on the CONFORMITY DECLARATION, to be issued for each supply of the
paint subject to this Homologation statement.
We hereby remind the Manufacturer that He and any other person involved must
comply with all the law demands, according to the Civil Code, the Criminal code, and
the Ministerial Decree dated March 6th, 1992.
