 Petchey Academy SLA:

SLA Grant Programme is a new grant scheme providing three-year funding for an
organisation or a partnership of organisations, called the Service Level Agreement Grant
Programme, which started from 1 April 2017.
Not sure about the claim time.

 Trust and School Improvement Offer:

The Trust and School Improvement programme (TSI) provides dedicated support through a system
leader - a National Leader of Education (NLE) or trust CEO - who is assigned to a setting to establish
a quality evidence-based improvement strategy, and where appropriate, to anchor them to a strong
trust. The policy signals a focus on multi academy trusts (MATs) to provide support and a longer-term
school improvement capacity.

Not sure about the claim time. Could be for one time only.

FGCS:

 Supplementary Grant:
The schools supplementary grant (SSG) is additional funding allocated to
mainstream schools and academies in the 2022 to 2023 financial year to provide
support for the costs of the Health and Social Care Levy and wider costs.

Ist payment received in 22/23 was for £ 119,073.00 and the second payment was for
£166,702.00 .

Payments will be made in May 2023 for local authorities, and June 2023 for academies, to
cover April 2023 to August 2023; and in October 2023 for local authorities, and November
2023 for academies, to cover September 2023 to March 2024.
The intention is that payment of this additional funding in the form of a separate grant will be
for 2023 to 2024 only. The funding will be incorporated into core budget allocations for 2024
to 2025. So, for primary, secondary and all-through schools, this will mean the funding being
rolled into the schools national funding formula for 2024 to 2025.

 School Led Tutoring

As part of the Department for Education’s (DfE)’s education recovery plan, the Secretary of
State for Education is providing financial assistance to eligible local authorities, for their
maintained schools, and academy trusts. This is in accordance with section 14 of the
Education Act 2002, in the form of the school-led tutoring grant for the 2021 to 2022
academic year.

This grant will give schools and academy trusts the flexibility in determining how best to
provide tutoring intervention to support catch-up for lost education due to the coronavirus
(COVID-19) pandemic.  From May 2022 until the end of the academic year, funding
allocations will be increased by 16 percentage points from 60% to around 76% of
pupils that are eligible for pupil premium in years 1 to 11. This is additional funding
for schools to deliver tuition within the 2021 to 2022 academic year. The number of
pupils will be rounded to the nearest whole number.

In recognition of higher costs, non-mainstream education providers receive £529 per

pupil for 60% of pupil premium pupils. From May 2022 the allocations for these
education providers will also increase by 16 percentage points from 60% to around
76% of pupils eligible for pupil premium in years 1 to 11.

We’ll use data from the ESFA online form to reconcile this grant. We’ll calculate any
overpayment and, if required, recover this funding from academy trusts or local
authorities on an annual basis.

This will also be the case where a school has chosen not to use the school-led
tutoring grant funding. If a school does not submit the data above, we’ll recover the
full allocation and restrict the school’s future involvement in the school-led tutoring
grant.
