Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W) was born in the Banu Hashim clan, in Makkah.

According to some scholars, he was born on the 9th of Rabi-ul-Awwal, while others
consider his date of birth as the 12th in the Year of Elephant, on the 20th or 22nd of
April, 570 C.E. His mother Amina immediately sent someone to inform his
grandfather, Abdul Mutalib of his birth. He named the baby Muhammad; a name
which was not common among the Arabs.
Forgiveness
It is reported by Anas (R.A) that 80 men came down from Mount Taneem to
assassinate the Holy Prophet(S.A.W) at the time of Fajr. The men were captured
but the Prophet (S.A.W) forgave them all.
Bravery
In the battle of Hunain, when the enemy showered arrows, the Muslims scattered
in confusion but the Holy Prophet (S.A.W) remained steadfast on the battle field.
Generosity
Once when a bedouin came to the Prophet (S.A.W) and saw his herd of goats, he
requested for them all and the Prophet (S.A.W) gave him the whole herd grazing
between two mountains.
Honesty
Once the Prophet (S.A.W) sold some camels to a man. Afterwards, he
remembered that one of them was lame. He mounted his horse and went to
search for the man. On finding him, he returned the price of that camel and took
it back.
Justice
Once a women named Fatima, who belonged to a reputable tribe, was arrested
on charge of theft. The Holy Prophet (S.A.W) ordered to cut her hand as
punishment prescribed in the Quran.
Humility
Ayesha related that Prophet (S.A.W) used to wash his clothes, milk the sheep and
do his odd jobs himself.
