Procedure of
Auto- Transfer Scheme 4.16KV SWGR BLOCK-3

1.- Auto-Transfer of H6&H19 if H1& H29 Tripped :


- UAT7 C.B. (H1) Status is Closed.
- Interconnection-1 C.B. (H6) Status is Open.
- Bus Section C.B. (H14) is open .
- UAT8 C.B. (H29) is Closed.
- Interconnection-2 (H19) is Open.
condition 1: at normal operation condition the Auto mode from (ATS sw) at
H14 B.S. C.B. is selected.
Condition 2: UAT7 (H1) C.B. tripped and respectively UAT8 (H29) C.B. will
tripped at same time.
Condition 3: Both Bus bar sections A and B are dead (undervoltage Trip) ,
Fuse failure not OPTD , UAT7 & UAT8 (50/51 ) Lockout relay
not OPTD (86-3) at UAT protection panel set-II and H1&H29
C.B. is Opened .
Action : ATS scheme between (H1 and H6) &( H29 and H19) will operate
and ( H6 &H19) C.B.’s will be closed within 0.05 sec (under voltage
time delay) Automatically.
Condition 4: If UAT7 (H1) C.B. is Failure to trip or it’s 86-3 LOR OPTD then
ATS scheme between (H1 and H 6) will blocked and Bus
Section C.B. block to close at this case , only the ATS
Scheme between (H19 and H29) will operate and at that
case we have bus section B only still live.
Condition 5: If UAT8 (H29) C.B. is Failure to trip or it’s 86-3 LOR OPTD
then ATS scheme between (H29 and H 19) will blocked and
Bus Section C.B. block to close at this case , only the ATS
Scheme between (H1 and H6) will operate and at that case
we have bus section A only still live.

2.- Auto-Transfer of Bus Section (H14) if H6 Tripped :


- UAT7 C.B. (H1) Status is Opened.
- Interconnection-1 C.B. (H6) Status is Closed.
- Bus Section C.B. (H14) is open .
- UAT8 C.B. (H29) is Opened.
- Interconnection-2 (H19) is Closed.
condition 1: at normal operation condition the Auto mode from (ATS sw) at
H14 B.S. C.B. is selected.
Condition 2: interconnection -1 (H6) C.B. is tripped .
Condition 3: Bus bar sections A is dead (undervoltage Trip) ,Fuse failure
not OPTD ,and 50/51 Relay not OPTD .
Action : ATS scheme between (H6 and H14) will operate, (H14) C.B. will
be closed within 0.05 sec (under voltage time delay) Automatically
and all loads will Auto transferred on interconnection-2 (H19) C.B..
Condition 4: if 50/51 relay OPTD or H6 C.B. failure to trip then ATS scheme
between (H14 and H6 ) will be blocked , at this case we have
bus section B only live.

3.- Auto-Transfer of Bus Section (H14) if H19 Tripped :


- UAT7 C.B. (H1) Status is Opened.
- Interconnection-1 C.B. (H6) Status is Closed.
- Bus Section C.B. (H14) is open .
- UAT8 C.B. (H29) is Opened.
- Interconnection-2 (H19) is Closed.
condition 1: at normal operation condition the Auto mode from (ATS sw) at
H14 B.S. C.B. is selected.
Condition 2: interconnection -1 (H19) C.B. is tripped .
Condition 3: Bus bar sections B is dead (undervoltage Trip) ,Fuse failure
not OPTD ,and 50/51 Relay not OPTD .
Action : ATS scheme between (H19 and H14) will operate, (H14) C.B. will
be closed within 0.05 sec (under voltage time delay)
Automatically and all loads will Auto transferred on
interconnection-1 (H6) C.B..
Condition 4: if 50/51 relay OPTD or H19 C.B. failure to trip then ATS
scheme between (H14 and H19 ) will be blocked , at this case
we have bus section A only live.
