Socio-economic situation

 Population at the base and at the projected year

Romeo Hechanova and Family owned the 12 hectares of land where Wood Breeze was located.
Other than the three on-site caretakers at the resort, the location was surrounded by a cornfield and a
factory. There were also no other residences in the area.

 Economic indicators at the base year and projected year

For tourists looking for a getaway from their everyday life, resorts have grown to be a popular
choice. A resort is defined as a place where visitors may make use of a wide range of services and
entertainment options while visiting. Resorts strive to give their visitors a complete travel experience,
from luxurious resorts to beautiful parklands. Notwithstanding, to succeed and remain in business,
resorts must keep an eye on economic indicators.

One important economic indicator in Wood Breeze is the demand for tourism. The level of tourist
demand for the area where the resort is located is referred to as tourism demand. A high level of tourist
demand may result in more guests staying at the resort. The ability to measure this data will be helpful
to resort management in identifying demand trends and informing their pricing and marketing choices.

Ratings for customer satisfaction are indicators of how satisfied visitors are with their time spent at the
resort. A resort may have high customer satisfaction ratings if it consistently meets or exceeds visitors'
expectations, which may encourage return business and positive word-of-mouth recommendations. It is
important for resort managers to monitor this measure because it could show them where they can
boost customer satisfaction and engagement.

In Conclusion, monitoring economic data is essential for a resort's success and long-term sustainability.
Resort managers may make knowledgeable decisions about pricing, marketing, and capacity by
observations like occupancy rate, ADR, RevPAR, average length of stay, customer satisfaction ratings, and
tourism demand.

 Employment in tourism at the base year and projected year

Three caregivers were on-site when the Hechanova Family launched the Wood Breeze Resort to the
public in 2008, and the other one is a stay-out caregiver. Two hectares of the 12 that belonged to the
Hechanova Family in Katangawan were used to establish the resort.

2. Land use

 Land use classification

On the 12 hectares where Wood Breeze is situated, the three primary land uses are industrial,
agricultural, and natural resource. Because of the nearby factory that makes corn mills and the
surrounding cornfield, the area is regarded as industrial and Agricultural. Lastly, they have preserved a
man-made forest that provides visitors to the resort a sense of accomplishment.

 Area in Hectares and percent of the total area

The 12 hectares of property belonged to the Hechanova Family, while 3 hectares were used by Wood
Breeze Resort. 3 hectares is (3/12) * 100 = 25% of 12 hectares. Therefore, 25% of the area was used in
wood breeze resort.
