The first day of class. Introductions and going over the class and what we’ll learn. Go
over chapters 1-3. Get materials for NIMS and future exams.
Time: 3 hours

Chapters 4-6. CPR certification day. Learn about airway management, O2
administration, and cardiac arrest.
Time: 3 hours

Chapters 9-10 and 13. We learned how to take vital signs and patient history. Then we
took the patient assessment: scene size-up and primary assessment.

Study for Patient assessment: secondary assessment

Date: 08/2/2022
Chapter 16-18 and 20-21. Practiced taking blood pressure, puls, and reparations. Take
patient assessment: secondary assessment exam. Study for trauma. Learn about spinal
immobilization, bleeding control, and splinting.

Work on NIMS (National Incident Management System)

Chapters 24-25. Take Trauma exam. Learned about pediatric vitals.
