Dear Parent/Guardian,

It is almost time for Dollywood! The Dollywood trip is next Friday, May 5, 2023 . Below is a list of
important items to review before the trip.

A reminder that this is a school field trip and all adults attending are attending as chaperones. All
students on the trip must be with an adult at all times. Students may not switch groups without the
chaperones agreeing and taking care of the transition in person. Do NOT send students off alone to
find/meet someone.

Everyone must sign up for the trip Remind. The code is @dmsdw23. I will be communicating with
everyone the day of the trip through this. This will also be how we communicate with parents at home
with our ETA for return.

Students may bring electronic devices if on the bus but are responsible for them at all times and are
expected to be respectful during their use. No one is allowed to go to the buses while we are in the park.

Students may bring a change of clothes if they get wet on rides. Dollywood has lockers available for rent
if they would like to take them in the park to change. Otherwise they will only get to change when we
stop at Pilot Truck Stop in Strawberry Plains, TN to grab supper snacks for the ride home.

Everyone should bring money to eat in the park. Paying students and chaperones will receive a ticket to
help with food cost, but will most likely need extra. Students riding the bus will need money to purchase
supper snacks for the trip home. We will not be stopping at a restaurant to eat. Screw top lid drinks only
on the bus and no energy drinks.

Currently, the temps are going to be mild in the mid 70’s. Sunscreen is encouraged by all.

We are super excited for the trip and have so many great memories from previous trips! Let’s make some
